I changed her organization and occupation as both were way off. SAoY? Rlly, Ame?

Changes made:
Star Army of Yamatai ---> Xiuluria
Diplomat ---> Conclave Member

As the writer of the elf species in its current incarnation, I do not wish for Ametheliana to represent the species in such an official capacity.

I often allude to Xiuluria, in Asteria, as part of the country's background. Xiulurian Council Members do not leave their posts in their closed-door city to traverse the stars. The entire point of Xiuluria's elves is that they stay put and don't interfere with the rest of the universe's mechaniations; it's a cultural thing. The elves that appear in Asteria are the ones who don't like that sort of thinking, and they are notably very few.

Play an elf diplomat for Yamatai, don't play a Xiulurian Council Member. Unless @Wes over-rules me, the answer is no.

This character was approved on December 31 and the only thing Ametheliana changed was an actual error (which doesn't reflect the page's prose) on an informational table.

The time for substantively changing this character is long passed, rofl.

Well. I think this is about portrayal. Gallant is now unhappy about how an aspect of something he wrote is being portrayed wrong. He wrote this aspect of the setting with something specific in mind.

Now the character was approved under different circumstances. Her titles and affiliations were different on the sheet. Now that they have been changed. The writer stated how a "Conclave member" would behave. The current RP that is canon, very much conflicts with this.

That's her fault for not RPing her character sheet, not my fault for noticing when she changes it.

I was always under the impression she was a diplomat. That's how she's always been told to me. Even in private conversation with Wes, it was mentioned that it was a diplomat.

Now it's not. Now it's interfering with the elves, as written, on the wiki.

I heard so much talk about how canon was the most important thing in the world so I thought I'd help you guys out by pointing it out to you.

This is the last I'm going to say on the subject until @Wes weighs in. Or @Fred locks this topic so that it doesn't become another mess that people are going to have to sort through. Or @Kim if she's got that sort of power as the character approver.

One time my character met with a member of a Xiulurian conclave because Ame GMd it. Mind you, this was before Gallant re-wrote the Xiuluria article. It was really fun! I'm fairly sure Immortal had a similar experience with Ame as the GM after Gallant re-wrote it.

Players think the portrayal is fine. Wes thinks it's fine. What's the problem other than the fact y'all are on some kind of weird hate bender?
