Issuing Authority: Fujiko Development Corporation (FDC), Territorial Administration Services
Region: Arzank II
Date: YE 46.8
The Fujiko Development Corporation (FDC) Territorial Administration Services is seeking ambitious individuals, prospecting groups, and corporations to pioneer the untapped mineral wealth of Arzank II, a desert world with a harsh environment but rich in precious metals. This initiative is the foundation of the newly formed Arzank Union, whose goal is to establish a robust mining industry on the planet. The FDC aims to support pioneers who demonstrate the capability to establish and operate resource extraction enterprises.
Mission Objective
The FDC calls upon private individuals and companies to:

The Fujiko Development Corporation (FDC) Territorial Administration Services is seeking ambitious individuals, prospecting groups, and corporations to pioneer the untapped mineral wealth of Arzank II, a desert world with a harsh environment but rich in precious metals. This initiative is the foundation of the newly formed Arzank Union, whose goal is to establish a robust mining industry on the planet. The FDC aims to support pioneers who demonstrate the capability to establish and operate resource extraction enterprises.
Mission Objective
The FDC calls upon private individuals and companies to:
- Establish self-sufficient mining enterprises capable of operating in the harsh desert environment of Arzank II.
- Prospect and extract precious metals located at or near the surface of the planet, with the possibility of future exploration for underground water sources.
- Utilize personal or corporate resources to set up initial operations before applying for FDC investment.
Planetary Conditions
- Atmosphere: Nitrogen-dominant, low oxygen levels (unsuitable for unassisted human respiration)
- Temperature: High and arid conditions
- Water Sources: Two large saltwater lakes, potential for underground aquifers (untapped and unexplored)
- Terrain: Cratered surface, remnants of former SMX base
- Strategic Infrastructure: Star Army Frontier Starport
- Eligibility: Open to citizens, non-citizens (with proper residential and work permissions from immigration), and corporations.
- Resources: Participants must utilize their own capital, equipment, and personnel to establish operations.
- Phase One: Enterprises must be proven capable of sustainable prospecting or extraction before any FDC financial investment.
- Phase Two: Once the operation demonstrates profitability and operational stability, the FDC will invest a minimum of 500,000 KS to a maximum of 10,000,000 KS depending on the scale of the operation and its projected impact on the planetary economy.
- Initial Investment: Once approved, the FDC will invest in the expansion and enhancement of operations.
- Arzank Union Membership: Successful applicants will receive official recognition and rights as part of the Arzank Union, providing access to FDC infrastructure and favorable tax rates on mining exports.
- Exploration Bonuses: Pioneers who discover new precious metal veins, untapped water sources, or other valuable resources will be eligible for additional bonuses and increased investment from the FDC.
- Harsh environmental conditions, including extreme heat and low oxygen levels, requiring advanced life support and logistics.
- Unknown geological challenges, particularly the absence of detailed surveys.
- Residual SMX base craters may contain unstable materials or hazards, which will require specialized handling
- Logistical support
- Prospecting assistance via geological surveys (provided once initial operations prove viable).
- Medical and emergency response services for severe environmental hazards.
