RP: Lorath [Nyli II Shipyard] The First Crew Of Any Ship

Nyli II Shipyard Complex - Antaeus #10 - Fleet Construction Bay - Raptor-Class Project Unit #1

Within the massive internal cavity of the Antaeus class battleship which was now little more than a glorified dry dock, a sleek and polished beastly form floated in the space. The surface was unfinished, a dull dark gray. The engines were dead. The ship was a mere ghost at the moment.

Within the ship however, things were somewhat more busy, the final touches were being placed upon the machine, and it was beyond the point which could be handled by automation, it was now the job of engineers to finish the birth of a new warrior of metal and energy.

"Come on, you could get that QNC running faster..." Came a woman's voice from underneath a loose deck plate, the tone was an encouraging yet serious one. Everything on the deck was dark, except for a small cluster of battery powered lamps.

On the deck, a series of cables ran along the floor and down the hall to a generator box, which was not operational at the moment due to an overload.

A small bit of gripping came from one of the workers, a muttered string of curses at both boss and machine as the smaller Llamnel man worked at a bit of electrical wiring. He was having a small bit of problems, and his squawking partner was not helping his patience much at all.

"Getting these things going is a delicate process." Another woman replied in response to the QNC. She herself was in preparations to helping get it on line, it just so happened to want to be stubborn at the moment. Maybe it was the jitters, or the casing, who knows.

"Do I have to come up there?" Came the woman's voice again from below the deck plate. "I'm not really into sitting down here all day long waiting to conduct a test that needs power when I ain't going to be getting it."

The other woman's wings ruffled up and flapped once in annoyance. "I'm standing in front of a device that could incinerate this sec....ahah....try it now." She said, hearing the internal click as it was put into place finally. She jotted down a mental note to berate whom ever had made the thing so damned hard to fit in.

The squawking became louder and louder until the man couldn't take it any longer. "GOD DAMNIT SHUT UP BEFORE I FEATHER AND ROAST YOUR ASS!" With the shout, a deep bellowing noise from where the man was at, the ship's electrical system finally came humming to life, with help from the woman before.

"Ow!" A sharp 'PING' came from the loose deck plate before a red-hair clad head peeked up from the floor. "The God damned! It shocked the living shit out of me." She complained as she looked over to the pair. "Hey, nature boy, stop harassing the bird and bring me the aid-kit would you? I got a nasty burn here."

"Didn't your father ever teach you not to take the God's name in vain dear?" The blue haired woman asked as she ran scans of the QNC from where she was. She then began making minor adjustments.

"Don't tell me you're one of those loonies that thinks that the God is as important as the Goddess." Came the pain tainted voice of the Fyunnen woman which was making her way out from the hole in the deck. Her already dark uniform was a bit darker as the scorched area became apparent, along with a steadily spreading touch of blood.

"Thats the Goddess if you remember you Solstice School teachings..." The Llamnel finally got out from underneath the panels, about the same size as a normal New Tur'Listan, his well kept hair barely moved as he grabbed a aid-kit and made his way over to the Fyunnen woman.

The Fyunnen woman grabbed the tip of both her gloves in her teeth and yanked them from her hands before she reached out for the aid-kit. "Thanks, I think I can manage to patch this up on my own."

The Male handed off the pack to the Fyunnen woman with a nod before he glared down to the source of a click-click noise. About twice the size of a bald eagle, the raptor looking bird stared up at his bonded mate with a tilted head before letting out a little caw. "Oh bite me you flea infested rode-YEOW!" The man began hopping around on one foot, holding his shin in his other foot now. Apparently the bird had bitten him, as told.

"Oh sure, tell the short girl who and what does what where religion is concerned. I only mess with devices capable of ripping sections of ships apart. And besides, I know who does what, I can't make a bit of topical humor around you two. So stuffy." She said airily

"This is why you can't fly yet..." The Fyunnen said quietly as she laid out the portable kit beside her. She pulled a pair of scissors from it and went about cutting off the legs of her pants. The skin beneath was scorched or burnt in many places. Oddly enough, the Fyunnen woman seemed mostly fine... except for her breathing which seemed heavier, but not the sort of heavy breathing which could be associated with pain. "Mmmh..." She poked at one of the burns, then chuckled lightly.

The blue haired New Tur'listian prodded the Fyunnen in the side. "Well, doesn't take a telepath to know what you like." She snorted before closing up the wall panel.

"I swear you Fyunnen scare me..." With a stronger nose then most due to his bond, the Llamnel just shook his head and walked back towards the blue haired woman. "So? Everything running ok?"

"More or less. Once she conducts the test to see if I need to make anymore adjustments we'll know for sure. At present the QNC is stable." The New Tur'listian said.

"Hey, mind-reader, take a look at what is going through my head right now, and tell me if you wish you were born one of my kind, hm?" Of course, at that moment, the Fyunnen woman was thinking some of the most erotic and vulgar thoughts possible about the New Tur'listan, even as she went about applying a series of dressings to her wounds and injecting fast acting nanomachines into the arteries of her legs.

The New Tur'listian chuckled a little. "You may crush me dear." She teased.

"Of course I would, and that is why the Matriarchy had the good sense to forbid my kind from doing such to your kind." The Fyunnen grinned widely before she gave one of the quickly fading burns a firm poke, which resulted in her visibly shivering and letting out a low growling grunt. She took a breath to steady herself before she put away the items from the aid kit. "Alright, lets see if this deck's power grid is operational..." She slid back down beneath the deck plate then went about conducting her test.

"I told you if you want to get rough later you have to be a good girl didn't I?" Asked a larger Fyunnen as she came into the room, holding a generator on her shoulder. She glared down at the Fyunnen just as she disappeared and placed the generator on the floor, just in case they needed it. She had been sent before everything had turned on.

"Might want to keep a leash on her. She's been poking at her wounds again." The New Tur'listian female warned as she re-opened the panel containing the QNC.

"I saw...I left the leash at home today cause she promised to be good." The woman shook her head a little and ran a hand over the stubble that was her hair. It wasn't due to her standing, she just felt better with little hair.

"Hey, I'm being good. I just had to make sure that I didn't have any nerve damage." Came the masochistic Fyunnen's voice from below the deck. She then came back up after a few moments and grinned widely. "Thats it, thats the last deck check. The power grid for this ship is fully operational. Now we can activate the permanent generators down in engineering."

"I saw the shudder, you know when you have nerve damage too. Not like the nanomachines can't fix that anyways..." The woman crossed her arms and glared down at the Fyunnen woman.

"If you want, my mind wiping her back to a hatchling is still on the table." The blue haired female teased.

A soft sigh came from the smaller Fyunnen before she looked up to her bigger companion and smiled. "Alright, fine, I enjoyed it... But I did not enjoy it as much as what you do."

"Of course you don't." The Fyunnen laughed a little before looking over to the New Tur'Listan. "Maybe if it were only for a night..."

"Can't be selective dear." The New Tur'listian replied sweetly.

"A shame then." The woman shrugged a little and yawned. The Llamnel man had turned to cowering in a corner, following the suit was his bird who had hid it's head under it';s wings. The Fyunnen woman just laughed and sat down heavily onto the generator.

A soft huff came from the recently burnt Fyunnen. "You just want to take advantage of me when she does it, huh?" She said accusingly to the larger Fyunnen before she gave her a firm poke upon one of her breasts.

The New Tur'listian swatted the other Fyunnen on the head lightly. "Now now, no orgies in here." She warned. "Besides, the male is cowering in the corner."

"Hey, they did tell us to test all systems, I would assume that means the beds too." The Fyunnen countered as she grinned.

The larger Fyunnen grinned and grabbed the smaller one's finger, snapping it back quickly to produce a audible popping noise. "I can take advantage whenever I want..." She laughed a little before shrugging to the New Tur'Listan. "Not my fault he chose such a weak partner. I've been beaten by a few of his caste members, though they were bonded to bigger beasts.

A sharp gasp came from the smaller Fyunnen as her knees buckled ever so slightly beneath her. Her mouth was open but not to let out a yell of pain, but an audible groan of delight. "Unnnngh..." She took in a sharp breath to try to steady herself, she did have a fondness for the larger Fyunnen woman, especially due to the fact that she gave her such unexpected 'treats'.

The Llamnel male seemed to growl a little, his wingers fluttering. "Are we done here?" He asked the New Tur'Listan woman, staring somewhat now at the two Fyunnen. Oversexed freaks... He thought to himself.

The New Tur'listian woman simply smiled at the Lmanel. "Yes dear, we're done. And I suggest you start thinking happy thoughts." She also added, a ploy actually as he looked at the Fyunnen pair.

"Great, them outside and you inside...I gotta get a new crew..." The Llamnel man said as he shook his head. He didn't know if it was to many women, or if it were their habits.

"We're done with the power grid installation." The smaller Fyunnen said as she reached to her finger and snapped it back into place, which brought a smile to her lips. "We need to start testing the system operations now. Mostly can be done through the computer, but we need to still do the running around to tackle the problems that come up."

The New'Turlistian tapped her chin a moment. "Speaking of computers...they've gotten the ARIA and MIKO on line?" She asked.

"Just the MIKO, they've instructed us not to let the ARIA unit out of her box until the Lady Princess arrives to activate her." The Fyunnen replied to the New Turlistan's question.

"Which is when?" The Llamnel man asked. He never really understood why they called her a princess, she wasn't royalty like the Xiaah and the High Priest.

"When we're done doing our job, we have a deadline to meet, remember?" The Fyunnen replied to the Lmanel before tapping him upon the forehead. The Fyunnen woman then looked to the Lmanel's animal companion and spoke. "You're really unlucky, you know that big guy?"

"Alright, alright. Enough of the chit chat ladies." The New Tur'listian said swatting each on the rump. "Time to go and finish the rest of our job, otherwise we'll get his feathers ruffled." She said in regards to the Lmanel.

"I really need to get a new crew..." The Llamnel man said with the shake of his head, rubbing the spot where he had been poked.

"True enough..." The Fyunnen said in reply before she smacked the rear of the New Tur'listian. "And hey, you know better than to touch my ass dear." She grinned before she scampered ahead of the group and in the direction of the nearest access hatch. "Lets get down to engineering so we can turn on the proper reactors."

The larger Fyunnen just laughed and shook her head, watching the rest as she followed after the crew.

Raptor Project Unit #1 - Engineering Deck - Five minutes later

"So, I'm telling you, I saw one of those R'na rodents in one of the maintenance hatches, it was as big as Lady Fate's torso." The smaller Fyunnen said as she held out her arms to indicate the size of the rat-like animal which she was speaking of.

"Could always have a Lmanel with one of those damn cats to come in." The New Tur'listian said.

The woman then chuckled. "Would be archaic and ironic."

"A R'na huh? Ok how the hell did one of those get onto a ship, in the middle of space?" The larger Fyunnen asked, tilting her head.

"Naw, don't worry... We'll get it when we test the internal defense system." The smaller Fyunnen stated as she strode to the primary engineering control area. The shutters which concealed the monitoring windows were in a closed position. The room was dim with the soft light given off by auxiliary lights which were barely operating by utilizing the energy from the temporary generator they had connected a few minutes ago. "I don't know, most likely stowed away in a supply crate... Alright ladies, we're going to fire up each QNC one at a time, and once all the units are active, we'll activate the antimatter containment system, then we'll fire up the converter system and pray we don't go up in a cloud of antimatter and death."

The New Tur'listian female shook her head, but also nodded. "Well, lets hope that doesn't happen." She said before taking up her own position. "Alright then, get your monitors up, and I'll get tthe QNC's activated.

The Fyunnen woman and the Llamnel male both pulled up monitors with a nod and a small sigh escaping from the raptor bird that lay at the man's feet.

"Deck one QNC, activate." The smaller Fyunnen ordered.

The New Tur'listian woman complied, going about the task, her fingers running across her console. She eyed the readouts a moment and nodded. "Deck one QNC on line, current output 50% and rising."

"No no, hold it there. We need to take it easy on the new components. If we heat them up too quickly they'll suffer thermal shock." The Fyunnen spoke as she worked her own console, routing the excess power from the first activated QNC to the various capacitors throughout the Raptor.

"Well, at least we know it is working and we didn't go up in a radioactive blaze." The blue haired female offered.

"True enough... Say thank ya to the work crews before us." The Fyunnen spoke. "Deck two, activate the secondary QNC then the command section QNC... Don't forget that deck has an extra since it is the command deck."

"Those guys can bugger off, tried to be nice and the next thing you know they get snobby as all hell. Even had a Berog try to bite me. Poor little thing ended up thinking its owner's leg was its mate for a few hours." The New Tur'listian cackled as she began powering up the other QNC's one at a time, each holding steady at 50%. "All are coming on line, and holding at 50% capacity."

"Good good, continue until each deck is powered up. Then bring the two main ones on line." The Fyunnen ordered as she consulted her maintenance display, which confirmed their good fortune.

The larger Fyunnen merely monitored the readings, as did the Llmanel.

The New Tur'listian hummed to herself as she continued to work. Deck by deck the QNC's came on line, none thankfully blowing up. Once the last was on line, she looked to her compatriots. "Well, time for the big'uns. Let's hope we don't get atomized."

"Thats what the durandium shutters and forcefields are for... I've pre-charged the capacitors for them by using the QNCs we've activated. If those big ones go up, we'll be somewhat safe... I think." The smaller Fyunnen said as she smiled. "Fire e'm up."

The New Tur'listian eyed the smaller Fyunnen a moment. "Someone seems to like that idea." She remarked before access the larger QNC's main startup systems. "Begin monitoring, QNC One coming on line now, QNC Two warming."

"Death and pain are two different things my dear, remember that..." Came a call from the larger Fyunnen, shaking her head and seeming a little nervous.

"Keep the first one at a low level until the second one comes on line fully. Once they're both active, bring them to ten percent and hold it there." The smaller Fyunnen spoke as she looked to her companions and laughed. "Death is the ultimate pain my friends. Yet I'm saving it for a special day, its not today."

The larger Fyunnen rolled her eyes somewhat at her lover and sighed, keeping the readings in check.

"Sometimes I wonder why the Goddess made us all friends." The New Tur'listian said ruefully as the first QNC remained at a steady four percent as the second soon joined it. As both equalized in power, she increased the output, both starting to put out more, and more power until they soon held steady at ten percent. With a contented little sigh she looked at the smaller Fyunnen. "So, we going to blow up?"

"It does not look like it, looks like those twenty years at engineering school paid off." The Fyunnen said before she let out a laugh and looked to her companions. "Well, thats as far as we can go until we activate the computer system's engineering protocols."

"Well then, what do you all say we call it a night? Hmm?" The Fyunnen woman asked with a smile as she clapped her hands together.

"Mmm... We do need to try out the bed in the Capitan's quarters..." The smaller Fyunnen suggested as she looked to her larger companion.

"Sounds like a plan." The blue haired New Tur'listian said after looking at the two Fyunnen. "And while you two do that, I'll be off for a nice drink."

The smaller Fyunnen grinned lightly as she looked to the New Tur'listian. "Of course, you're invited if you ever commit a blasphemy." The Fyunnen then turned her gaze to the side. "Or if you just want to watch... I don't think that counts."

"They never said you couldn't watch...Otherwise there wouldn't be the porn industry we have..." The larger Fyunnen woman shrugged a little before she looked to the New Tur'Listan. "I've seen your stash. 'Fyunnen Ladies 5: The Roles Reversed' I think it was called?"

"I think I'd rather go and get trashed." The female New Tur'listian said.

"Hah, nice subject change for the escape. I don't know... I'm kind of partial to watching the New Tur'listians training Lmanel... Mmm... They have such cute tits." The smaller Fyunnen said as she licked her lips. "Perky."

"Bad." The larger woman bopped the smaller one on the head. "You know what happened to your other sister that tried that..."

The New Tur'listian looked at the two, eyebrow arched.

"Least she didn't get the death penalty... But she still can't stop drooling." The smaller Fyunnen frowned lightly as she thought of her sister. Her sister was an effective soldier, had a promising future, until she was caught with a male Lmanel in her mouth.

"She was lucky too. Unlike what I heard about our other princess..." The larger Fyunnen still wondered what had become of the first princess.

The smaller Fyunnen's eyes went wide before she gave her companion a sharp poke to her kidney. "You know we're forbidden from even speculating about her!"

The poke barely even registered as the Fyunnen shrugged. "I know I know. But you know all of our sisters do..."

"And thats why they issued the decree to forbid such chatter... We should not be thinking of the blasphemer when we have our new Lady to follow." The smaller Fyunnen stated in reply. "I'm just curious who they suspected her of being with."

"So,"The New Tur'listian said in way of changing the subject. "Who do you think the Princess Obelisk is bringing along for the ride?"

"Well..." The smaller Fyunnen turned her gaze to the New Tur'listian, which she quietly undressed with her eyes. "Since our Xiaah was assaulted by that Occhestian dog... I think the Lady Obelisk will bring some of the best soldiers she can find to hunt them down."

"I figured as much. They made this ship armed to the proverbial teeth after all." The blue haired woman surmised.

"It was actually designed to be like that even before the Xiaah was attacked... I think it was being designed to deal with the heathens." The Fyunnen spoke, she grinned lightly. "We need to be careful of them you know."

The New Tur'listian's face tightened slightly. "Oh my yes, we do." She said.

A hard swat came to the back of the smaller Fyunnen's head. "She has been tested, she is loyal. Stop making the poor girl nervous.

"I don't mean those heathens, I mean the ones with the funny ears." The smaller Fyunnen said, and to illustrate her point she put her hands to the top of her head and wriggled them about while swaying her hips and making a "Nya nya" sound.

"Didn't some of them switch sides?" The New Tur'listian asked.

"Oh the cats. I wouldn't have minded taking a bite out of one of them..." She liked her lips a little but nodded. "Yea they did, three are even asking for our flesh, and one fought the Princess."

"Sure, thats most of what our UOC allies are you know, people who were tired of the ways of them. I'm still worried about them wanting to seek revenge against the ones who left. I suppose our superiors feel the same, and thats why we're building what we're building." The Fyunnen engineer spoke as she looked about. "Of course... this is a scouting ship... Maybe there are other reasons behind all this, I don't know, I just work here."

"Wait what, who fought your Princess?" The New Tur'listian asked. "Wait, lemme rephrase that. Who would be crazy enough?"

"Some defector. Tumiko? Erm...Yumiko I think it was...Something with a Y. She lost, but gave the Princess a small concussion and popped her knee outta place." The larger Fyunnen nodded.

"One of the people from the UOC. Commodore Yuriko. The High Priest seemingly has taken a liking to her methods, he even sold her one of the Zahl-Class we put together." The smaller Fyunnen explained as she grinned. "I was lucky enough to be at the training grounds when they had their match!"

The New Tur'listian shook her head and sighed. "I miss all the good things..."

"You were there cheating on me as I remember..." The larger Fyunnen said with a raised eyebrow, looking down at her lover.

"How can we cheat when we do what we do for the passion and not for mating?" The smaller Fyunnen said as she looked to her larger companion. "Also... I was learning that one trick that you like so much... you know, that one thing I do with my teeth."

"Do I run around on you and see other women? I keep all my passion bottled for you, not uncorking it for another so they may taste the sweetness of what I hold just for you." The Fyunnen crossed her arms, watching the smaller one now. "I'm sure there are a few sisters that could teach me tricks, yet I do not go to them."

"You don't need to... I deliver all that you ever want, and you know I'm the only one which can stand up to that passion you have. Remember your first lover? She still can't move her right foot." The smaller Fyunnen spoke as she stepped closer to her companion. "The one after her... She had to have that finger removed."

"Don't make me brain fry you both." The blue haired Lorath female sighed in exasperation. "As much as I love watching your lover's quarrels make it up in the bedroom, and for the love of the Goddess...repair any damage."

"I'm sure I could find another if I so chose." The woman shrugged a little before she looked to the New Tur'Listan. "Our offer to watch stands."

The smaller female shook her head. "No no, you two go have fun. Like I said, I'm going to go and get a drink."

"Mmm, you could give us a little nudge in the right direction, hm? You know... a little zap to get us in the mood?" The smaller Fyunnen suggested as she put her arm around the waist of her lover and smiled. "And my dearest... you'll miss me as soon as she cries out for mercy."

The New Tur'listian woman huffed, and placed a hand on each female, holding it there a moment. "You want a jolt, I'll give you both a jolt, but like I said, I'm not going to be cleaning up the mess afterwards." She said, and gave the requested 'jolt', a little more then asked for, but still enough.

The smaller Fyunnen's knees nearly came out from under her as she leaned against her companion. She shivered and quivered for a moment before she managed to regain her composure... only to find that unmistakable feeling of lust clouding nearly everything. "Thank you, very much, and move along before we both pull you into a travesty."

The larger of the two Fyunnen shivered for a moment as well, though she was able to control herself better. Twisting her neck to gain a few audible pops, she grabbed her lover by the tendons in her neck and smiled. "Thank you, we will see you tomorrow for work." She said to the New Tur'Listan before she led her lover off to one of the crew rooms.

The smallest female chuckled and shook her head. "And there they go." She said with a sigh before patting the Lmanel male on the back. "It's alright now, you can stop being so God be damned quiet."

The smaller Fyunnen allowed herself to be carried off by her companion by the neck, as if she were a kitten being carried by her mother. All the while, she left an unmistakable scent of arousal in her wake until the pair disappeared into the lift to go to the quarters, which she hoped would be the Capitan's quarters.

The Llamnel male sighed and nodded slightly. "I really don't like it when those two are in the same room...So about those drinks..." He asked, needing one himself now.
