Notes: Salvaging variant of the famous Courier-class. Up-armored and up-armed to beat its way through debris fields, the collector has everything it needs to retrieve salvage and survive the trip there and back.

I wonder if the design of the ISC Phoenix's Crimson Kestrel had any influence on the design of the 2C? The Cargo Bay hangar hybrid design looks familiar...
 
Not quite, since the 2C's hangar is on the aft. that's more just a wider, tougher opening to the cargo bay to drag junk in. But yes, it does look somewhat similar.
