Kouken Class

The Successor to the mildly successful Jinkan-class escort, the Kouken is a slightly larger ship with more effective use of space, more safety features, and a little bit more firepower. It takes the lessons learned from its predecessor and expands upon them.

I am looking at using this class for an Upcoming plot, even though it was made specifically for Task Force Phantom using SSharp's suggestions.

Where do you fit 100 Heavy Laser Turrets?

The Laser turret itself is a mobile box that is magnetized or attached in some other way to a ships hull which allows it to float freely to where it is needed.

They are located inside the ship most of the time, in what is essentially a deck made just for them. There are two armored openings for them which allow them to come out.

Note that it can't use all of them at once unless you want to die.

I really don't like this ship having 100 weapon pods. That kinda thing used to be ok but from what I understand we've been trying to tone the weapon spam down.

Either way, there isn't really a rule against that and the rest of the ship is well made, you even have interior graphics and such.

About the turrets: there's not 100 because it can use them all at once, there's 100 so it can replace lost or damaged ones quickly during battle.

And I made sure it had a good fleshed out interior because it is intended as a Plotship-type craft, and I feel such a ship needs to have an accurate representation of its interior for players to understand.
