This plugin would allow us, with some work, to create the kind of infoboxes that you often see used on MediaWiki, this in turn would also allow us to create - what I feel anyway - to be better and more professional looking pages for things like Starships and Characters. An example if what I mean is included in the following links:
While it won't be a perfect infobox, since that is impossible to create even with this plugin, it will at the very least allow us to actually put paragraphs and text to the left or right side of the tables themselves (separating it and making it so that the table doesn't just take up space but also allows you to perhaps put up a brief summery of what the table might be about, or you could leave it blank.
I'm not sure I'm quite getting the syntax from my initial skim... but what I've observed seem to display three benefits we don't presently have:
The infobox: that thing on the upper-right of the M1 Abrams tank page. Some wikis have those. We don't. I can figure specifications, dimensions and manufacturer could easily stick in there for vehicles.
Multiple column: I've seen 3 in one example. I'm not sure what I'd use multiple columns for, but the benefit of sticking a picture and being able to work in the same vertical space seems attractive enough.
Collapsible table of content: In our articles, the table of content can get pretty long and cumbersome to view. I've noticed on wikis such as Memory Alpha that they hide table-of-contents. From what I see, this would be possible with this too.

This feature request is accepted and I plan to include the Wrap plugin in the next upgrade of our Dokuwiki, which should be as soon as tonight, or failing that, this weekend.
Note: the upgrade to Dokuwiki may mean a loss of our current Dokuwiki style template, as I will probably have to rebuild it from scratch.
