~~I'm confused about Rok'Veru. Its page says "Old records will show that Nepleslians came from Rok'veru." But then "All records of this system of planets were lost." So.... is there any record of it?
~~Also, I find some of the pre-history slightly incongruous. We have numerous sociopolitical shifts that would probably take years occur in a matter of months. Things don't happen that fast. It takes time for the populace to get angry.
Teddo, those things DO take place over years. The stuff about Rok'veru means they have the name, but they know nothing else about it. and I suppose the vordiwhatevers were defeated?

lolololol ~~~~~~~ That example makes the entire case. xD
and Kai, I was actually looking at the star map yesterday, and Rok'Veru is marked and flagged as a Nepleslian planet. So now I'd really like to know just what is going on with the planet. Is it still occupied? What is it used for? And most significantly, do the Black Claw outposts still exist on it?
And the Vordachibeans, didn't they originate somewhere else and migrate into human territory? Wouldn't this mean that there's still a whole lot left out there, wandering some other segment of the galaxy? Or has their territory been completely absorbed by colonial expansion since then, and their forces simply massacred?
Plenty of precidents. Look at what the colonists did when they came to the New World. How many cities were given the same name as places back in the old world.

None. None were given the exact same name. Cuz it's NEW England! Everything is NEW! NEW York! NEW Jersey! So fresh and original! lol
Anyway, I think it's just an erroneous statement on the wiki page. Wes wouldn't be so cruel and uncreative as to give two planets the same name.....(?)
But we haven't done it in SARP. Doing so would create needless complications and confusion. I'm going to maintain my conclusion of 'the wiki data is incorrect.'
Hey... yes, the IPG page does say that. The planet page doesn't mention anything about that. Or anything within the past few centuries, for that matter.
I've made some changes to clear up the contradictions.
If anything is vague or contradictory, keep in mind that it was written by fallible human beings, and even many commercial fictional worlds have trouble maintaining a consistent canon timeline.
ICly, keep in mind that the history takes place over many decades, with the propaganda machines of various factions competing to alter the "accepted" version of events to their favor.
And sometimes something does not make sense because the "accepted" history is not what actually happened, and it's up to interested PCs to uncover the truth. The "Elysian" plague was one example.
