The scene begins in a hotel conference hall, roomy, but designed to be comfortable, rather than particularly ornate. There is a certain elegance to the design, with simple, clean, organic lines and vivid, natural colours. Light and dark golds, oranges, and tame blues are the main colors lining the walls and decorations. The seating arrangement wasn't overly packed, while the seats themselves were equipped with small viewscreens, had fairly good ergonomics and soft seating. No point in having bored or uncomfortable guests.

Holding the conference were a group of five Iromakuanhe, each quite proficient in his or her field of endeavor, who were sitting in a line to the left of the raised podium.

Greetings honored guests, and welcome to a public informative conference being held by representatives of the Iromakuanhe Astral Commonwealth. Thank you taking the time to inform yourselves on our race and culture.

You should note that any and all hostile actions will be dealt with swiftly, and as we currently have no less-than-lethal technologies, guests may wish to keep those actions to a nil.

Through the magic of fourth wall dispersion technologies, our species was able to create a device that will completely break down all language barriers in this hall. This does not include certain expressions, which may be lost in translation.

After a short introduction, your questions will be answered by our panel.

Guests of many different nations filled in, though many had to leave less conspicuous firearms and weapons at the door. Each of the five representatives introduced themselves by name and rank, and the information appeared on the screens.

"We will now take your questions."

A woman clad tightly in a grey-blue flight suit, with messy russet hair and distinctly pointed ears stood up from the back of the room. Violet-painted lips pursed as she began to speak.

"Yes, Elisa D. Metea here, of the Daiclonius-class gunship Maras. I was informed before you came here that you had unique technologies in terms of mechanized units; in fact, that this was one of the major interests that people would have in your development. Could you tell us about this technology?"

Well... that was fast. Kaerl thought to himself, standing up from his seat. He was an athletic-looking man in his early twenties, with lightly tanned skin. Ostensibly quite handsome, even with the characteristic back-facing horns and bony joint plates of his species. His well-kept light brown ponytail hung between the protrusions, while slight laugh lines at the edges of his purple eyes revealed he was the type to show his good moods frequently.

As he approached the podium, he caught sight of the person who had asked the question, and giving a quick smile, began to speak.

"Rumors seem to spread very quickly in this sector, don't they? But then again, I suppose that certain concepts are very popular, regardless of things such as culture, or race. You could say, Miss Metea, that our military, known as the Astral Vanguard, is using highly effective mechanized combat units developed by the very company I work for, Solan Starworks..." Kaerl explained, pausing to clear his throat.

"...but not in a very traditional sense. Our Organoid Powered Frames are actual living organisms, roughly six to ten times the size of your own Powered Armors and mounting comparatively archaic or inferior technologies. Most of the units are given the designation VANDR, which stands for VANguard Deployment Ranger, which also designates variable-type units. In combat, we deploy these vehicles as fighter craft, but can have them switch to more intuitive humanoid forms when the situation warrants it. As an example... while close-quarters combat is considered outmoded and a little reckless by our armed forces, it is properly viable in humanoid mode."

The half-Curdatl man smiled again, and set his hands onto the podium. "Have I answered your question adequately, or did you have more specific things in mind?"
