"Raven" power armor

History: designed and developed by one: Koji Larian as a specialist armor for starship personel use to minimize collateral damage. Otherwise, not much is known.

Appearance: A slender, sleek armor with Zanarium armor plating with Andrium joints with a closed visor winged helmet. prototype has a forest green/tan paintjob

Weapons:

Knuckle Bombs

Location: Knuckles of the armor
Primary use: anti-personnel
Secondary use: demolition or anti-light armor
Damage: Heavy-moderate depending on target
Range: close
Rate of fire: 1 per 3.4 seconds
Payload: 5 per arm

The Raven can also use any other mech weapon such as rilfes or melee weaponry but in their use, the knuckle bombs are automatically disabled until the weapon is dropped of the hand the user wants to use is free.

System:
Electromagnetic deflection shielding: A system embedded into the armor, when there is a pilot inside it automatically begins to generate an electromagnetic field to deflect incoming small arms fire around the armor

Stealth: : the stealth system essentially creates a field around the armor that bends light around the armor, making it look like whatever environment it is currently in.

Tactical AI (unique AI, see notes)*: The Prototype AI contained in the "Raven" contains a copy of Dr. Larian's synaptic patterns as well as his expertise in combat. Through the inner suit, the AI can detect changes in bodily function, external stimuli, psionic function and provide tactical advice to the pilot through a small port in the base of the neck that sends the signal into the brain. An innovation in the AI's function allows it to form personal bonds with it's pilot based on mindset, the care given to the suit, anything that would get you a friend outside of the amor works inside and externally. Such as keeping it well-maintained and relatively clean as well as providing regular repairs or upgrades.

Energy reflection configuration: When the AI detects the presence of energy weapons about to fire, using an innovative energy sensitive sensor array, this system is automatically activated. It coats the plating of the armor with a mirror polished finish that is able to reflect low energy laser shots up to low-class moderate energy.

"Comfort systems" (ie nourishment, massage, pilot comfort) The nourishment is provided by intravenous injection through needle points in the back of the shoulders, waste is carried out of the body via a catheter system. The waste is processed and released as a odorless gas though vents on the hips. At mid to high synchro (50%+) the armor's AI can sense through the inner armor suit points of bodily stress or mental anxiety. And if it is not under battle situation, it can provide a very enjoyable warming and vibrational sensations through the gel-padding. Even in battle it can provide the same relaxation but it's not quite as effective.

Computer manipulation system: using a small system located in the underside of the wrist using plug-ins to use mental commands instead of physical typing and manipulation at a limited distance of 2 ft. The data gathered is sent into the helmet's visual display and the AI provides translation and understanding as well as help if it's required. Since the fingers of the suit are too bulky for delicate manipulation, the wires can also act as small fingers. As a result of the neural commands, the fingers themselves sometimes move as if the pilot was manually performing the operation.

*note: AI is intelligent and semi-sentient, having a personality that can bond to the pilot, even love the person. High synchro means best performance, better reaction times, better system op. Even sacrfice itself to save the pilot's life if need be. On the otherhand, low synchro is almost certain death, because the AI will only act as a basic tactical system and won't use it's massage/relaxation functions to aid the pilot.


Note: armor cannot fly, but it can leap great distances both straight up and horizonally via thrusters on the hips and shoulders.

Low Synchro (1%-49%) all normal armor functions including a command activated massage system.

Mid Synchro (50-80%) as low synchro but massage comfort systems become semi-automatic, only activating on command or at rest. Higher performance which means enhanced speed and limited hovering ability.

High Synchro: Magic amp comes online and enhances any magical abilities the pilots posesses (magic levels +50%), Massage comfort system fully automatic, highest level performance. Speed upgrades from max of 200 in combat to 350 for movement purposes only. Also, the armor will sacrfice itself to save the pilot in dire situations or take control to escape a bad situation and the pilot is unconscious, though this has the sideeffect of a bad headache when the pilot awakens.
 
From a standpoint of "wow that's really cool" I really like this, but I have a few questions. For one thing, do the explosive knuckles actually explode or are they simply reuseable? Another concern of mine is the lack of long range weapons.
