RP: Reactivated Reactivated M4: Firebase Assault

Nara watched with as much awe as her focus on the situation at hand would allow, which was not much at all. Yet the simple beauty of their enemies' blood brought about by cooperative savagery brought her some measure of satisfaction. It seemed that they worked fairly well as a team, brining brutal fatality for those that were deemed unworthy of life. Auli'i's handling of the slug-like abomination brought a grin to her helmet-covered face.

Moments after the explosions Nara was flattened against the wall by Morris. While she was grateful for the protection, she made a surprised groan upon impact. "Not exactly how I pictured getting pushed up against a wall," she thought in the moments between getting flattened against it and Morris careening shield first into the door. As soon as the door flew inward she readied her rifle with the barrel downward, flicking it up once cleared through the door and out of risk of hitting her teammates. She ran scans to detect enemy life forms, really anything that did not match that of their crew. As she moved towards the right checking for signs of life, there was one unfortunate soul that still had breath.

Quickly Nara slipped out one of her niranium daggers, severing what was was left of its neck. She watched unphased as life left the creature's eyes, with not even a flinch or remorse. Battle was not pretty and it was in her best interest to make sure they had no chance of recovering to come after them later. It brought her some measure of peace as she cleaned her blade before slipping it back into its hidden sheath. After clearing her self-assigned part of the room she checked her scans, nothing yet, though her eyes caught what might have been another corridor. Quickly she slipped behind the others and posed up next to Mike, behind Morris as she kept watch on the opposite side of the space Mike was watching.
