Theatre of Operations: Taiie System
Introduction: Our primary mission of exploration and to seek out the support of other races for the empire is one with a great birth of opportunity and responsibility. To facilitate such missions as those planned to Ahmar, Jaspis and other unexplored systems we must have a firm hold from which to situate command and control. Thus opens an ongoing series of missions here in the Taiie System.
Overall Objective: To establish a base of operations in the Taiie system from which the 5th Expeditionary Fleet will launch future missions in the surrounding regions of space.

Type: Armor Escort/Away Mission
Attention: Corro Aldrich//Kasairyuu Wing
Briefing: This is a high priority mission. The entire colonization effort on Taiie IV rests in a delicate state. A shuttle, call sign Trotter, carrying 8 of our mission specialists sent to map the colonization site on Taiie IV has went down in the dense rain forest 32 kilometers away from their original destination. A distress signal was received 4 hours ago and no word has been received since. Rescue the mission specialists.
On your way to Taiie IV, please escort the Hummingbird CDC, YSS-Cnidari to its place in Taiie IV orbit.

Mission 003-02
Alpha Shift
YSS-Akuro
Briefing: While our 17th Armor Wing is flying its first mission to Taiie IV a number of logistical issues need to be handled in the 5th Expeditionary Fleet. During the last mission several of our logistical vessels were destroyed (Two Oberon Transports) it has created a lag time in the receiving of supplies and personnel from Yamatai. Part of the delay is due to the now strengthened security in the fleet; some commanders are over reacting and are causing delays in schedules. A new logistical solution needs to be worked for the fleet from new logistical vessels needing to be ordered, to advanced security procedures developed regarding their load and unload of payload and personnel. As apart of the advanced training program, Taisho Motoyoshi has asked that Taisa Shimizu utilize the opportunity to allow the trainees a chance to offer suggestions to develop such procedures.
Secondly, the normal operations of the fleet are expected to be preformed during the shift. Make sure it all runs smoothly.

Mission 004-01: Training Games (17th Armor Wing)

As a continued part of the advanced training program it has been arranged for the 17th Armor Wing's Red Squadron (All PC's) to conduct a series of training exercises against the 10th Armor Wing's White Squadron at the new Training field spanning the Demesis Belt region of the Taiie sector between the fifth and sixth planetary bodies.
The following restrictions will be placed on the performance of all armors participating:
Speed Cap: 0.8c
Damage will be simulated
Navigational systems will be set to manual, onboard computers will not plot courses.
The games have (3) sections:
Section 1: Maneuvering
Pilots will be asked to perform a series of maneuvers to avoid a series of stationary and moving markers. Pilots will be judged on technique and speed.
Section 2: Squadron Cooperation
Squadrons will be asked to design and execute a series of joint maneuvers in an "airshowâ€

Mission 004-02: Finishing the Puzzle (Alpha Shift)

Our theatre of operations continues in the Taiie system. To continue meeting the scheduled deadlines it is important that we take this opportunity to deploy a series of (3) Kante Class Military Boarder Monitoring Stations ( https://stararmy.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1605 ) in the Taiie system, and two regions of space south east, and south west of Taiie in the Bard Cluster. These stations will provide a first warning in the event that an enemy tires to enter the region.
The Akuro is to oversee and coordinate the placement of these stations.
Since the task is rather simple, please take this time to have your Alpha Shift begin work on customization to the Akuro's AI. After the incident at Taiie most of the work that had been done to it was reset.
Any additional free time is to be coordinated at your leisure. Please contact you if you require further clarification.
