1. The alien vessel that contacted YSS Jaren had identified itself as an element of the Neocron Ascendancy.
2. The Neocron Ascendancy seeks a military alliance with us against the QIS, as the QIS had repeatedly infringed upon Neocron territory.
3. I await your directions on the whether to accept their offer of alliance, and on the exact terms of the alliance that we are to offer them. While we have little reason to trust this Neocron Ascendancy, I believe that they might prove useful in helping us eradicate the QIS problem.
