Restarting an old character.

Hey there SA it has been too long.

First a little introduction,
I joined SA roughly 4 years ago as an Elysian Pleb named Nathaniel. I took part in some RP, but disappeared due to lack of interest, vacation, etc.

However due to school getting near its end for me I once again feel the need to express my creativeness in a RP. Whether it’s character interaction or graphical design. And I was hoping I could do it within the boundaries of SA again.

The question itself should have made itself clear. I know that restarting with an old character has some problems with them like, what has that character been doing till this point on? And due tot he fact he would still receive a salary means that he would be kinda rich at the moment. The money point is moot as I would basically demand to keep the money at the level or lower then the level it is currently at to keep it within acceptable levels.
Of course, "if" I get the green light, I will try to have an updated version of Nathaniel's bio ready, and submit that one to the new characters forum.

Restarting a character is mostly a matter of making up a plausible story that draws out his path from where he last was to where you want him to start out again. What plot do you want to put him in?
 
Due to his military background I am thinking of contacting Kai to get him on the YSS Genesis. Although the list of plots show that ship as full, the Wiki itself doesn't.

I also chose that RP due to the fact its still in the starting phase and so doesn't require a massive undertaking to get the character to that ship. An Elysian would kinda stand out on a ship don't you say?
 
As you said, remaking a character that has been gone for four years, especially as turbulent as these have been, it could be done, but you would need to figure out what they've been doing.

It might be better since most likely whatever plot he was in is long gone, just make a new version of the character.
 
Yeah that also came to mind when thinking of how to get back into the RP.

Let’s see how much my crazed mind can come up with in terms of Nathaniel’s past. Kind of a good thing too, gets me to know most of the stuff that happened in the past.

Back to the drawing table with me then. I got some writing to do. And "Some" Is a understatement.
