In some dark corner of the Star Army universe, a faint flicker of light sparked in a random point in the cosmos. A spectrum of colour exploded from the point as a pure black Neocron arachnid frigate literally spawned into existence from the point of the explosion. Its lucid form glides through the limitless void with the grace of a deadly flower.
It stops almost instantaneously as if it were suddenly trapped within a bubble of suspended time. Time however, was progressing the opposite; far rapidly than it was travelling in the Star Army universe. The frigates form grew bloated, the invisible bubble fluctuating a split second before the frigates form is replaced by a far larger, insidious looking structure. An array of seemingly black organic protrusions sprouted from its surface and drifted in random motion, as if a soft solar wind interacted with the thin appendage.
Time reverted back to its original state. Motionless other than the constantly waving protrusions, the ascendancy structure sat still.
