Psychological Characteristics

Personality:
If perfection could be defined in a living thing, it wouldn't be Riminovz. Although he is a kind, caring soul, Riminovz is a fish of few words, so to speak. Being very recluse and somewhat shy Riminovz lacks social etiquette as a result of his solitary adolescence. Though gifted in a impressive mathematical genius, he suffers from slight Demophobia phobia in that he fears being in large crowd for long periods of time even though he can tolerate very small groups. To make matters worse, he is very clumsy especially when embarrassed. However years at the university and in the lab have made him a tenacious worker.

Likes: Developing new technology, maintenance and repair, and reading. In his spare time he also enjoys math puzzles (like sudoku).
Dislikes: : Noisy, talkative people. Long periods of socializing, People who abuse other sentient being and robots (including Rills)
Goals: Currently none since losing his job except the hope to stay out of trouble.

History

From a very early age, Rimiz was highly intuitive and mathematically gifted child. Even before 3 years were up, the attendants realized Rimiz's special gift intervening to help get him enrolled in some of most prestigious educational facilities of Henatu. While he quickly accelerated academically through his teachers and mentors till he was years ahead of his peers; the gift cost him a normal social life him and lead to his very shy, quite, and recluse personality. By age 7, he had nearly exhausted the Henatu academic system and his last mentors, hoping to curb his growing anti-social behavior, pulled strings to get him enrolled to one of the top university at Teres, the primary research hub of Azorea. Unfortunately, a merchant vessel lost control of it beast and marooned its 12 passengers including Rimiz deep in the middle of the sea. Because it was a common problem with merchant travel in Azorea, public record has very little information pertaining exactly how Riminovz and the other passengers survived except that he and 7 other scared survivors where rescued by another vessel making the same journey months later. Rimiz would continue his academic carrier at a Teres university and later landing a job specializing in classified Azorean sonic research for the commonwealth. He working diligently in this field with his colleagues until he was fired and later imprisoned due to accidentally detonating the prototype sonic bomb they where testing. According to the records, he detonated the bomb when he crashed into the control panel after clumsily tripping one of the scattered power cords spilling a Capri-Sun-shaped drink (p.s. he under water). After serving 2 years of his "banishment" in prison, the Azorean judges decided to conscript him parole-like sentence on to service as a lowly recruited assistant engineer on in the Azorean military . To remain consistent with his banishment the parole stipulates he can never ever step foot on the Azorean capital world again.

Skills

Mathmatics: As mentioned before Rimiz his highly gifted in mathematics. As a result of the work he did to earn his degree, he is proficient in various advanced mathematical topics including calculus, abstract vector Spaces, combinatorial analysis, stochastic processes, and quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and solid-state. Before the research accident, he was working on his dissertation.

Enginneering: Like all Azoreans, Rimiz has been trained to have a basic B.S. level understanding of engineering. As a researcher however, Rimiz refined and honed that skill to a very deadly art making him not proficient in understanding many modern Azorean technologies. However, he is slightly rusty due to his 2 year incarceration.

Chemistry: Rimiz has enough of a basic college understanding of chemistry. However apart from his need to know and find out various molecular properties as a researcher, Rimiz lacks any knowledge of more advanced topics in chemistry such as genetics.

Survival and Military: While lacking any proper military training whatsoever, Rimiz is slightly familiar with aquatic and deep sea survival techniques as a result of an incident when he was 7. However, it is a skill that he tend to hide because of his very personal past.

OOC Notes

--Yes, I know Riminovz is a weird name. Its easy to pronounce though as the z is silent. I wanted the name Zvonimir, which means "song of peace" in Russian, but being an male Azorian I needed a name that started with R or W. Plus, I realized the dramatic irony between the name with his un-peaceful history would be more obvious.

--The actual accident involved what would be best described as a prototype earthquake bomb. Because the bomb was still a prototype, it was not fully armed and only resulted in a magnitude 4 earthquake. However, the earthquake lasted for a full 3 minutes (instead of the normal 27 seconds); therefore, the resulting damage to the city of Teres was sufficient enough to cause Rimiz's banishnment despite it being an accident. I didn't mention this aspect because I didn't want to imply that this super weapon ever existed or would exist in a way that would break new Technology and Setting Rules. I can add this if you guys think it would clarify things, but I would like some advice on the exact wording from some admins so I don't overstep my bounds.

--I actually got the demophobia from an exaggeration of an anxiety disorder a friend of mine has. Yes, I know the "nerd with social problems" is very cliche but I was planning on using his quirks and clumsiness as part of a running gag in involving embarrassment and Capri-Sun-shaped coffee drinks.

--Fay I wasn't sure if I should put down the occupation/current assignment I wanted. Below was the assignment/occupation I wanted to request.

Occupation: Assistant Engineer
Assignment: ACS Ameriss
Pay: N/A (see next bullet)

--Other than the whole being exiled thing, I wasn't sure what the exact terms of my prohibitory service should be? For example, given the circumstances of Riminovz exile CAN he receive promotions or pay? If he can, should he start out with no pay and have to prove himself or should he be limited to a fixed set pay? If the former who should determine if he has proved himself (other than the captain)? What other stipulations should I add to his ability to receive pay and/or improving his occupation?

This is a fairly good character. It is ready for approval if no one else has any problems with it.

Occupation and Assignment are fine, but I haven't made up Azorean currency yet, so there isn't really a payscale for them. As probation, he probably wouldn't be allowed to be left alone in engineering or any other place that has volatile materials. He probably would also have to work for the government for several years/decades to pay society back.
