Build and Skin Color: Average build, not too lean and not too muscular, tanned caucasian complexion.
Face and Eye Color: Soft countenence, dark red eyes.
Hair color and Style: Blonde, worn straight and parted in the middle reaching to just to the top of his neck.
Distinguishing Features: Both ears are pierced, usually filled with simple, small, and round silver earrings. Due to a childhood trauma he will sometimes walk with a slight limp in his left leg, though he has gotten used to it and doesn't really impede his work.
Psychological Characteristics
Personality: Ever eager to please his peers, his enthusiasm borders on naivete. During a battle or public life in general you would never mistake Robert for a leader, but when he is preparing a meal it would be in your best interest not to disrupt him. A great lover of food (but by no means a pig) he insists on everything being perfect and it would not be uncommon for him to throw out a meal if someone messes it up.
Likes: Food, cooking, helping his crewmates, spending time with family.
Dislikes: Weapons, people and creatures bigger than him, people interrupting him.
Goals: Currently his goal is to continue working in the Star Army to send money back to his family. His long-term goal is to eventually open his own restuarant.
History
Robert was born into a relatively poor family where he and his sister had to do much of the family work as his parents were constantly ill. Robert and his brothers and sisters managed to make enough money to keep the family from starvation but when his sister died the family's largest source of income was gone. Robert tried to find anything to support his family, but it wasn't until his uncle suggested entering the Star Army did he ever think of joining the military. He just barely passed military training but had fortunately been able to secure a position at which he exceled.
Skills:
Culinary: Robert took on much of his families cooking duties during his teenage years, he became quite good with his own innate talent and whatever tutelage that he could find between his duties to his family. Though he has no perticular speciality he has a gift for making spectacular dishes from whatever he has available, a necessity during his families rough times.
Domestic: As Robert grew older his parents became weaker and weaker with time, the Brauer family relied on him and his older sister Elena to take care of te family. Robert, of course, had to learn to do basic household tasks efficiently, moreso once Elena died.
Communication: Robert is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Robert is fluent in English. He can speak and write both correctly though has a tendancy to misspell words and make other small mistakes if he is under pressure.
Fighting and Physical: Robert received hand-to-hand combat training by way of loading all the necessary related knowledge into the soldier's memory, and then following up with a rigorous training program. He is by no means talented with a weapon though, he barely passed through training.
Information Technology: Robert is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. He is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
