Ketsurui Fleet Yards, Yamatai
KFY announced the recent release of several new ship designs, now available for use by Star Army of Yamatai fleets and other agencies.
Kainushi-Class Tug Vessel.
This new workhorse craft will soon be found at most locations with heavy traffic. Star Fortresses, Starbases and shipyards. The Kainushi-Class is designed to facilitate the loading and offloading of ships, and moving ships around facilities when they can not do so under their own power.
Minori-Class Hospital Ship
The Minori-Class is named in honor of Ketsurui-Chinomai Minori and is intended as a replacement to the Jihi-Class Medical Ship. The Minori-Class is smaller and less expensive to manufacture, and yet has facilities to treat large scale injured personnel, as well as restoring soldiers from mental backups in the field. Thus allowing trained soldiers to be returned to service quickly. The Minori-Class is also intended to be used by the Department of Colonization to provide Hospital level medical services to accompany Colonization groups.
Midori-Class Scout Ship
The Midori-Class is named in honor of Ketsurui Midori and is intended as a replacement to the venerable Yui-Class Scout ships that have served the Empire for many years. The Midori-Class is capable of handling various roles as both an intelligence gathering ship, and a survey craft.
