Kyoto, Yamatai - Interrupting recent Freespacer-Yamatai discussions, recently-appointed Nepleslian Sky Marshall Pyros Thrull Westwood used coarse language to threaten Yamatai, implying that Nepleslia would attack Yamatai if Yamatai conducted further operations against Free State. Yui responded with a low blow, calling Westwood a vulgar and violent stereotype unable to fill the shoes of his predecessor.
The dispute comes at a particularly bad time. Yamatai's peace treaty with Nepleslia, passed by the Yamataian senate nearly two years ago, remains unsigned by the Nepleslian senate due to the NMX terror attack in Funky City but was expected to finally be signed soon. Now tensions caused by Yamatai's aggressive stance against the Freespacer-led terrorist group calling itself the "Independent Worlds League" have threatened to disrupt the peace process.
Yamatai's stance against the IWL is absolute and the Star Army plans to attack the Freespacer pirate group called the "Wired Rovers" whose leader acts as a spokesperson for the IWL. It is unknown whether Nepleslians consider the Wired Rovers to be a part of the Free State.
