Star Army Seeks Volunteers

Kyoto, Yamatai - The Star Army of Yamatai has placed several fleets on alert status tonight and has sent out a call to the patriotic citizens of Yamatai to immediately enlist in the Star Army of Yamatai. "An alien invasion situation has arisen on our frontier that could likely lead to war," explained Chujo Ketsurui-Chinomai Minori, the head of Star Army Personnel. "We are asking our citizens, especially those with prior service experience, to join for another 3-year enlistment term to keep our military strong. While we will continue to create Nekovalkyrja, the large numbers of them we are making have left us with a shortage of experienced soldiers per unit, particularly in ground units, particularly in regards to non-commissioned officers. The Star Army also values its species diversity and having more volunteers from the many worlds of Yamatai will help with balancing the new Nekovalkyrja."
So far, sources have confirmed that the alien invaders are in the region of the former United Outer Colonies and that they are not Mishhuvurthyar. More details to come as events unfold.
