Uesu Departs in Rampage; Yamatai Fortifies Homeworld
Kyoto, Yamatai - The former Emperor and his massive fleet departed today in an amazing, grim trip straight into Mishhuvurthyar territory, where the armada of over 300,000 warships left a path of mind-boggling destruction, destroying several entire star systems outright and leaving other Mishhu-controlled worlds in shambles.
Meanwhile, the massive interstellar ring of Hoshi no Iori has relocated to the Yamatai system, a feat of engineering unique in our time. This required developing the universe's largest network of hyperspace fold drives as well as creating a planet-scale power generation and propulsion system for Yamatai itself (to keep it from being knocked off course by the gravity of the ring). The citizens of old planet Yamatai are being encouraged to move to the ring, where a section of equal size to the homeworld has been made into a very accurate copy of the original. No word yet as to whether an evacuation will be required. Rumors abound that once Yamatai's surface is moved onto the ring, the core of the planet will be used for war resources.
