Kyoto, Yamatai - Based on many factors including the NMX invasion of the UOC, the disappearance of Crown Prince Tio, Star Army fact-finding missions, and recent knowledge that the UOC Prime Minister Ayana surrendered the UOC to the NMX, the Yamataian Star Empire officially declared today that the UOC had ceased to exist as a government. In light of this, the Empress of Yamatai declared that the UOC-YSE treaty of YE 30 was nullified.
The immediate effect of this is that all territorial possessions and citizens of the UOC are now considered to be part of the Yamatai Star Empire.
Due to the imminent completion of a massive invasion of the UOC space by NMX forces, the Yamataian government has ordered a complete evacuation of UOC worlds until such time they can be secured by the Star Army of Yamatai and allied military forces. Former UOC citizens are urged to prepare to leave immediately aboard ships from the various nations that have assembled to rescue them.
As with all Yamataian citizens, former UOC citizens have freedom of movement and emmigration and may join other nations such as the nearby Lorath if they prefer.
All UOCPF forces are asked to immediately submit their status to the Star Army of Yamatai and to standby for response orders. Your standing orders are to protect civilians and save as many lives as possible.
In preparation of the evacuation, Yamatai, at great expense, has been assembling camps and towns that comfortably can support millions of UOC refugees in conditions of dignity until they find new homes.
In order to make the evacuation go as smoothly as possible, UOC evacuees are instructed the following:
1. Please prepare to leave the UOC aboard Star Army or allied starships. Your stay on the ships will be temporary and will last until you can be provided with a free medical evaluation and temporary housing.
2. Due to space concerns, only one duffel bag or foot locker and one backpack or small carry on bag will be permitted per person. Food and bedding will be provided. Weapons will not be permitted except for members of the former UOCPF, who are authorized to provide security.
3. When you arrive on a Star Army or allied ship you will be provided, along with essentials, an opportunity to apply for an address for your temporary housing. Families should apply at the same time. We will organize housing into female, male, married couples, and family groups.
We ask that you be patient as the situation develops. This is the end of the UOC but a beginning of a new start for its people.

Update: Yamatai wishes to stress the urgency of this evacuation. NMX forces are present in the UOC area in very large numbers and we cannot secure the former UOC systems at this time. They are expected to be lost to the NMX in the near future. Therefore, we again urge all former UOC citizens to leave via Star Army rescue ships or using rescue ships of other nations. Keep in mind that various factions may transport to different locations; for example, Lorath rescuers will take you to a Lorath system. Keep this in mind and know that you have freedom of choice in the matter.
