YAMATAI TO RELEASE HALNA
Halna System – The Yamatai Star Empire announced today that it would no longer be protecting nor patrolling the Halna system. Halna is a small system on Yamatai’s (galactic) northeastern border that was the center of a controversy when Star Army forces attacked and claimed the system in response to the encroaching threat of Freespacer terror groups and their comingling with a criminal element there. The invasion was led by Ketsurui Hanako, adopted daughter of former Empress and current Star Army Commander Ketsurui Yui.
Currently the system’s small population is divided over the changes. “I’m just out here trying to make a living” a local tavern owner explained. “But without Yamatai here I get worried about greens and Mishhu blowing me up.”
When asked to comment, Taisho Yui told us, “If the NMX attack Halna, the Star Army will still respond. Whether or not the system belongs to us, if there are Mishhu there, I intend to drive them out.”
