This is not meant for the same niche as the Type 29 escape pod, but the Type 29 can be a bit too costly resource-wise for the recovering SAoY, being a miniature ship in itself. If this Type 30 caught on, I would recommend a Type-29A with ST capacity for important heads of state/Taisho, and perhaps a Type 29 designed to act as a new type of SS Pod.
