This is not meant for the same niche as the Type 29 escape pod, but the Type 29 can be a bit too costly resource-wise for the recovering SAoY, being a miniature ship in itself. If this Type 30 caught on, I would recommend a Type-29A with ST capacity for important heads of state/Taisho, and perhaps a Type 29 designed to act as a new type of SS Pod.
I didn't look at the systems to closely but this looks like some of the most solid tech I've seen from you so far. The only thing that really stands out right now is that the SRP system was unfortunately removed.
