I was under the impression that @Wes wanted to cut down on the number of "special" materials we have in the setting. I'll double-check with him first.

It doesn't quite seem like this rates a "medium" class. I'd bump it down to "light."

I thought about that but it having the ceramic like properties ups the density and weight.

... Which doesn't justify the armor class. It's a highly advanced ceramic. Great supplemental armor material, but it doesn't rate with the other materials in the class.

Arieg, to clarify. Light, Medium, and Heavy armor is based around damage protection, not weight. Something can be superlight, and still rate in the Heavy category if that's the level of protection it gives. They're different classes of armor, not different weights.
