Ally would appear before the various senior officers onboard the NSS alliance. The message she gave them all was the same but the names she used were different. "Please report to the bridge in five minutes. The Captain has ordered a planning meeting for the upcoming operation. She would stay where she was and await a response while elsewhere she was talking to the new diplomat, informing her of the upcoming meeting as well.

Wazu was waiting outside of Soreta's room, preparing to escort her the moment she stepped out, following his orders to the letter. "Thank you Ally, Please inform them that I will be arriving with Soreta.â€

Jet blinked looking up at Ally as she gave the news of the meeting and stood up from where he was socializing with the other grunts. "Later guys" he said and headed out of the messhall. With the sound of the hardsoled boots on the metal floor he brushed his coat out behind him and continued walking toward the bridge. He'd get there soon enough and entered, giving a nod to Ally. "Looking good as usual Ally." he smirked at her and leaned up against the wall to wait.

Jack Miller was the next to enter the bridge, striding in with purpose and giving a passing nod to Jet and Ally as he took seat in his chair at the large circular table.

He turned the leather chair to face the door and waited patiently, crossing his legs and resting his clenched hands on his lap.

Jet looked over at Miller when he came in and nodded a greeting to him. "Hey Captain." He said offhandly. "Now we're waiting on that kid...Lionheart I think right?"

"Correct," the Captain replied. "It's about 3 minutes right now. I hope to hell that he shows up on time."

He cleared his throat for emphasis.

"How do you like your new ribbon? Right now it's only an image file on your personnel record, but you'll get an actual physical one soon."

Jet chuckled a bit. "I liked the comment you decided to throw in. But It was unexpected." He said. "but hey I'll take what I can get."

"My apologies for being late," Matthew said as he entered the bridge, his breathing a bit unsteady from jogging his way to the bridge. "I hope you weren't waiting too long," he spoke as he ran his hand threw his hair before saluting to Miller and Jet. Having just returned to the ship a while ago, Matthew had only had enough time to place his bag in his quarters before receiving the message to meet up in the bridge.

"And Captain, I appreciate the comment you sent along with the ribbon," the warrant officer said. "I hope I can continue being of service," he spoke calmly before taking a seat.

Wazu knocked on Soreta's door three times, "Ambassador, We are requesting your presence on the bridge for a meeting before we arrive at Elysia.â€

When summoned, Soreta left the room immediately, and smiled; evidently, she was quite good at feigning emotion when she wanted to be. "Lead the way, Lieutenant."

Wazu made his way toward the bridge of the ship, a pronounced limp in his step now. In addition to his uniform he was again sporting a black metal cane which helped support his weight. Within a few moments they were both at the entrance to the bridge. Ally opened the door for them both and Wazu stepped to the side to allow Soreta to pass through the doors first, not having said anything for the duration of the short walk.

Jet looked over at Soreta as she came in and let out a "tch" before turning away. "Nice to see you again." He said curtly to her.

Hmph...are they all that suspicious of me already? This is quicker than I expected... Soreta thought, as she stepped onto the bridge with a sigh. "Quite frankly, lieutenant, that's not your call to make. I have been on the ship for all of an hour and you denounce my ability due to my slight displeasure with some of the crew? I should hope you don't make command decisions like that."

She turned to the others on the bridge. "The lieutenant has shown notable prejudice towards me due to my species; implying that I am a loose woman, and overriding my instructions to my bodyguards. I wouldn't take his judgement as objective; evidently, he is incapable of the one thing any good diplomat or commander should be able to do - that is, seperate his emotions from his work." Soreta's tone was contemplative and intellectual - a far cry from the responses she had given before. "In addition, it reflects poorly on his loyalty that he would so easily question the orders of his superiors."

The young warrant officer could only blink at the absurdity of what had just occurred. Both the Executive Officer and Diplomat had only just walked in through the door of the bridge and now they were at each others throats. Glancing over at the Lieutenant and then at the Greshin diplomat, the computer specialist could only bring his right hand up to his face and pinch the bridge of his nose, trying to keep a straight, expressionless face.

Damn...is it going to be like this the entire way to Elysia!? Matthew thought before looking back up at both individuals with chocolate-brown eyes. The Lieutenant has a major point about the Elysians possibly taking offense to our visitor. But questioning her abilities as a dignitary just because she made a few marines annoyed, the cadet thought as he reviewed some data about the complaints Ally collected. Then there's that accusation the Greshin Diplomat made on Lieutenant Wazu. he thought as he looked at the cane wielding man. He does seem a bit edgy when he's around her...ok, real edgy. But that is probably just because of the possibility of this mission turning around to bite us in the ass, not because of her race. Well...shouldn't be anyway.

Matthew then glanced at the Greshin woman with an objective eye. He had seen a few Greshin when he was on the transport he was apprenticing on before joining the military and she seemed rather different by comparison. For one, she seemed to prefer less-revealing clothing than the one's he had met. Plus the fact that he couldn't see her entire facial expression with her eyes covered made her seem harder to read. To sum it up, the distance she was putting off didn't seem very diplomatic. But the way she spoke hinted training in such a field, or a field involving public speaking. Still...I can see that she may have been a tad rough with the enlisted, he thought before glancing over at Captain Miller, wondering how he would respond to all this.

"Don't let it get to you Soreta." Jet said. "Wazu has a tendency to think that about women when he's in a bad or annoyed mood." he chuckled a bit. "But your bodyguards are part of the security of this ship while you're on it, which puts them in my jurisdiction..." he looked at Wazu. "Just let her keep her bodyguards, we'll station them outside her room because we know that you have your own duties and can't babysit her the whole trip there." he said, his arms crossed over his chest.

"She has a right to have guards on a ship full of amorous marines." Jet continued. "And the Elysian may have issue with a geshrin acting as a diplomat considering the shared history we all have with them. But to earn trust you first have to extend it at some point." Jet said, looking over at them.

"She has already shown her rather confrontational approach common to diplomats trained on Yamatai. This attitude does not seem to have gone over well with this crew and I can expect it to go over even worse when we reach Elysia. Even now she is still unable to break from the confrontational approach that would be so dangerous to use with the angels.â€

"My approach is not for you to question, lieutenant. You should trust me because your superiors have chosen to trust me; and if you can't trust your superiors, then your abilities as a soldier are lacking." Careful with her tone, Soreta was wary. The fact that she had so quickly made such a fierce enemy surprised her slightly - it usually took at least a day. So this is my challenge, huh? But it is good to see that there are people aboard who aren't so interested in me.

"Appearances are decieving, you know," she added. "You are quite quick to judge those you have just met."

Matthew could only frown more as he listened to all of this. It seemed the XO was on the war path all right, especially as he cut into Sub-Lieutenant Endurain. This could get ugly real quick, Matt thought as he stayed silent. What else could he do? He had a superior officer making several good points about the diplomat while said Geshrin was attacking his loyalty to high command. Ugh, this is giving me a headache, the Cadet thought as he absent-mindedly scratched the flesh around his connection port.

"Pardon me, sir," the warrant officer interrupted, finally gathering the courage to speak. "I understand what you are saying about the problems Ms. Soreta acting as delegate to the Elysians as well as understand the evidence suggesting she has been confrontational with the crew," the young man began as he sat up straight in his chair and cleared his throat. "To be honest, I'm worried as well. But if I may be so bold, what makes you believe the attitude she's shown toward us is her professional attitude and not just some personal hostility towards us, as in Nepleslian soldiers?" he asked calmly with an expressionless mask upon his face.

Jet laughed in the face of Wazu's comments. "Ha ha. You really think that bothers me?â€
