History

After being produced Kuriko was immediatly sent to Fort Ready for the accelerated training program. While there Kuriko met lots of new people, and started to develop as a person herself. Kuriko wasn't the best student there, however she performed well enough to get by. Kuriko was hopeful when she first stepped on the shuttle to the YSS Takemitsu for ship based training. However that hope was washed away as the Takemitsu rode the Aether waves during the destruction of Nataria shipyards. After a bit of silence Erika Koyame, commander of the Takemitsu ordered the recruits to go out and attempt to make minor repairs to the hull. Like most recruits, Kuriko wasn't sure she was really qualified to be making such repairs to a starship, however she did as she was ordered anyway. After a while the YSS Senbu, and Anri class deep space repair vessel, answered the Takemitsu's distress call. The recruits were temporarily transferred over to the gargantuam Senbu while the Takemitsu underwent repairs. Just as Kuriko arrived she recieved an order telling her to suit up in one of the Senbu's armor bays, and that she would be under the command of the Senbu temporarily. As fast as they could, Kuriko and a few other recruits rushed down to the armor bay and launched. During the combat, Kuriko locked on to a specific foe and fought him exclusivly until he was defeated. Unlike nekos born to be infantry, who seem to possess additional innate skill with armors, Kuriko's limits were pushed to their maximum. After defeating her opponent Kuriko started to move toward the rest of the pilots, in an effort to assist, when suddenly the ruined Irim ship that Maya Hirahara began to explode. Kuriko had met Maya during her training at Fort Ready, and had become attached to the recruit in the brief amount of time that they had been together. Kuriko was pretty worried when the ship exploded, almost to the point of tears. As soon as the explosion had cleared Kuriko rushed in and found Kail Tarrim, the armor instructor from the Fort who had also been dispatched with the group, on top of Maya. The pairs wounds looked grave, Kail was missing all of her limbs and Maya her right arm. Kuriko and another neko rushed the pair to the med bay aboard the Senbu. Kuriko stayed in the med bay as long as she could before one of the nurses escorted her out. After that, Kuriko made her way to the briefing ampitheater where the debriefing was to occur. During the debriefing Kuriko recieved a Service Award for her actions in the combat, as well as a promotion to Nito-Hei.

Skills

Communication: Kuriko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Kuriko is fluent in Nepleslian, and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Fighting: Kuriko received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Technology Operation: Kuriko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Mathematics: Kuriko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Humanities: As a caretaker, Kuriko takes pride in the fact that her job is to maintain the well being of the crew. Kuriko has been instructed in the fields of both psychology and sociology. Kuriko is capable of identifying common mental illnesses, as well as serving as a counselor for those who need to relieve stress or need advice.

Knowledge: Kuriko loves to study about psychology and sociology. Not only are they her primary fields of work, but they are her love. Because of constant study, Kuriko knows a lot of psychological and sociological theory and history.

Entertainment: Kuriko likes to sing, and although she isn't the best singer out there she feels a sense of satisfaction when she does sing.

OOC Notes

This is an NPC that I played for a bit in Ft. Ready. I have a plot in mind already (it's 5tar's plot, the YSS Senbu).

APPROVED once you post a link the wiki version.

Hai thar, I shall be your reviewer for this time.

Anyway, lets take a look at whut we got, Mm?

Well!

I am tempted to say get rid of Gender, although Gender and sex aren't the same so it can of course stay. Plus, can't toss my ideas onto everyone.

Anyway. I'm afraid the Caretaker occupation no longer exists, so you are going to have to go about selecting another one. Don't ask my why tis gone, though.

You aren't a newbie, so your rank is fine. Only one rank from newb land, anyway. Hee.

Height and weight are fine, not knowledgeable in the realm of measurements so I am going to go ahead and assume that thats fine, as are the cup size.

I'm going to have to ask you to be moar descriptive, aka enlarge the descriptions. Skin colour, for example. Neko can be lots of different colours, not just the fleshy pink. Hell, I'm vaguely certain they can be purple. Just rare. The build is also not explained... At all, really. Your build is a general bodily look, IE: Stocky builds would be realitively bulky peeps with wide shoulders, etc.

There is also other parts of the face then just the nose.

Hair is fine, although the glasses bit probably shouldn't be stuck in there.

On the topic of glasses, I would imagine in Yamatai having glasses would be almost unheard of. Do remember, this is the future land. But in anycase, the social stigma that matches glasses with the Phycies wouldn't be the same in SARP time. Probably.

Capitalization in the likes and dislikes, d00d!

Being that history seems more or less RP history, I can't say anything for it. Tis all fine.

Skills are all fine.

Wikify it, poast here getting back to me on the above points, and then it'll be approved right after.

Edit: Or... Wesley will approve it on us.

Oookay, well...it's been approved, but as you said caretaker doesn't exist anymore. I'll figure something out about that.

On gender: Actually I used the CCG Autotemplate so the person to talk to wouldn't be me. ^^;;

After looking through the classes. I actually did the wiki version, I just forgot to include the link. I'll go ahead and fix up the descriptions as you indicated (there are more parts to a face than a nose!?!?!?! when did this happen!?!?).

On Measurements:
Yea...I'm not knowledgable either, and I'm pretty sure I somehow screwed up the cupsize thing (me = male = doesn't know these things). I went with 'ideal' measurements I found (via googlesearching) and used those.

Thought:
Science and Medical with an emphasis on psychology? Isn't that more or less what the caretaker was? A medic that took care of your brain? Medical skills would probably need to be added then.

double edit:
elaborated on the details gamer requested. (for glasses see below) also, talkd to Kim about measurements, fixed that a little. <3

Glasses(redux):
I'm not talking about the stereotype, I mean historically famous psychologists wore glasses. While I know it's been a long time since even modern times, one would assume that the research conducted by them would still be relevant (and thus, they are in a way as well). So Kuriko kinda has the 'imitation' idea, imitate the glasses wearing so she might be able to gain the insights that they had (I could put this in the personality, hmm it might be interesting to do). It's a quirky thing, it doesn't really do anything, and we all know she can see fine without glasses. If in the end though it's a big deal I can remove it. Also on the availability of glasses: I think glasses would be available in Yamatai, though perhaps not common. Not everyone is a neko or a Yamataian, and glasses are a cheap(er) alternative to surgery.

Caretakers did all the cooking and everything else too, apparently, but thats all fine.

Oh, and the desciptions and stuff aren't properly spaced, so it looks messy. You'll see what I mean.

However!

This charrie has been offically approved by the penguin fellow.
