Not really obsessed. More like it's my impression that Wes has an easier time updating Yamataian-related stuff. I've been in the role of content coordinator for a setting and I sort of know that it's always easier to update the stuff you invest yourself more in than the other things you keep more to the side.
Besides, Neplesia is headed by other GMs right now. Wes might actually not have all the pieces required to settle Nepleslian bits to be edited - he'd probably need to make a thinking tank-group and 'dot every i' then so to update things concurrently to the current plots.
One thing I believe would be really good though would be an update of the Geshrin, Yamataian and Nepleslian races, especially in their Playing a... section.
The Geshrin's section is lamentably small, the Yamataian's section explains more the reason for their existence than their actual situation in the roleplaying world (it does confirm what I've been telling Wes though - Yamataians weren't supposed to have anti-gravity control).
The Nepleslian description is actualy pretty good compared to some others. It includes notes on the culture, the lifestyle and some history bits. I think it's especially important for the racial profiles to present the race, show how that race typically lives, give the player insight on where he'd be coming from and such. Some more fleshing out is still in order, but they already have decent content.
The Nekovalkyrjas, by way of the NH-29 update, had a big update evenj though that's still in Beta version, but the Geshrins, Neplesians and Yamataian are the other three most used races in the SARP - they ought to have sizeable content too. That said though, upgrading all that stuff is a chore, which is why it's better for Wes, I think, to take it bits at a time.
