Shukara Military News Agency Reporting Ship
A series of stars passed by the reporter as he leaned over his console, staring out the ships plexiglass reinforced window and viewing the military shipyards. The area was abuzz with activity, various military and civilian ships moving about the area - although a large squadron of fighters were keeping close to the shipyards.
Moored within was a brand new warship that had taken seasons to build, but had just finished and would be christened soon. The man sighed and pushed off his console and floated over to a green screen that was at the rear of the cockpit.
"We ready?" he said to someone else in the cockpit, and got a nod from this other indivisual. The monitor infront of him showed that the green-screen was now showing the ship that was about to be released, and the reporter took in a deep breath before speaking into his throat mic.
"This is She'nama of the Shukara Military News Agency, reporting to you live from the naval shipyards where a new class of ship; known as the Kith'sobashen, has just finished construction alongside three of it's fellow ships."
"The Kith'sobashen is a warship that has taken seasons to build, and was designed to help bolster our defense fleets. Although I am not allowed to reveal 'what' it is equiped with. This ship," the backscreen shifted from an overview of the shipyard to now showing the front of the ship, which was being lightly illuminated by overhead lights.
It was easy to tell that the ships crew were running checks, as it's running lights were flickering on and off and its engines were likewise glowing brightly before dimming. Finally, a shimmer could be seen as the ship engaged it's shield generator followed by the boarding ramp breaking away.
"And here we have it," said the report as he had the news ship brought in closer. "The launching of the NSV-Darkness Illuminate, which will be joining the Second Defense Armada as it's flagship."
As the Kith'sobashen passed by the reporting ship, and the camera panned to follow it, a second Kith'sobashen could be seen launching in the background. its hull was black and devoid of any features, the only way it was noticable was due to the overhead lights, but once those lights flickered off the ship seemed to 'vanish' from space.
Viewers would notice that on the Darkness Illuminate, it had a number of fairly large turrets on the top accompanied by an even larger number of lighter turrets.
Then, a group of fighters flashed by the camera, blocking for that brief second before viewers would see the Darkness Illuminate. Behind it trailed several carriers whose fighters were both launching and landing, one right after the other.
"We have reports of another ship that is currently under construction here as well, we will report when this vessel is finished."
