[Message being sent to military characters only, civilian characters will not see this]
This is a general military report being sent out to all Shipmasters and high ranking military personnel. Several seasons ago the S.N.V. Gam'trosha encountered unknown alien life during a exploration mission; an altercation occured that resulted in them capturing one of these creatures. Upon returning to the homeworld, Or'ion removed the creature from the ship and began to study it.
It has now come to our attention that this creature, after several seasons of study, didn't evolve naturally. We are attaching an image to this message, detailing our findings as to why we think that. Parts of the creatures internals are cybernetic while its outside is mostly organic, simulations based off our findings and also from battlefield recordings show that the creatures are somewhat immune to typical energy based weaponry - our ballistic weapons on the other hand are effective. Unfortunantly we have no data on whether our swords will help, this is something that will have to be tested out in the field.
Further investigation is needed, and Shipmasters are requested to try and capture these creatures alive for further study. Because of the information provided, these creatures are to be considered hostile and should be engaged when sighted - although capture is a priority.
Until further notice, we are classifying these creatures as UC-2's.
