Escaping the Destruction of Nataria the two Fifth Expeditionary Fleet Star Fortresses made the jump to Yamatai. Following the reinstatement of Taisho Motoyoshi Katsuko she too returned to Yamatai; to lead the rebuilding efforts of her tattered fleet. Despite the Fourth Fleet's confirmation that the destruction of Nataria was due to pirates and not the United Outer Colonies -- Katsuko had requested to solve the issues with her family and had received authorization from Yui to do so.
Star Army Command, Kyoto
"It was the last Chiharu produced before Ketsurui Fleet Yards discontinued the line, it will have to do until a new class of battleship is produced." Nakasato Maru said as she put down a pile of paperwork on the Taisho's desk.
"Alright, let the yard know we will take it." Katsuko said, pointing her new fleet aide towards her already packed backpack next to the door. "What is on the agenda for today?"
Maru picked up the Taisho's bag, and said as they walked out of the office. "Himitsu finished a new Irim Wing last night, they are waiting for your inspection. Bays three and six on Hotaru are delayed due to a mix up in the specifications for the Takumi Spaceframes and we need to resolve the issue with the order for Moua Active Jammers for the Yuuko Gunboats." she took a breath as they boarded the elevator and headed towards the lobby. "Then we have the jump to Taiie scheduled for 1800 hours, so we can rejoin the Fourth."
Katsuko nodded, "Packed day...Just the way I like it. How are the personnel transfers going?"
The two left the command building, after checking out with security. A small convoy of surface terrain vehicles and light utility trucks, each with the Fifth's flag on their hoods. A black sedan with tinted windows was in the middle of the convoy, the driver held the door open as Katsuko and Maru got in.
Minutes later the convoy left the command building.
