Star Army Item Generator Thread

Also, I have the Misc Cargo in version 2 of the program, which works, but I'm sitting on it until certain facheads update their salvage lists, so I can load them. Otherwise, I doubt they'll ever do it. It's like pulling teeth. -_-

The modifications to this thread after page 2 have yet to be put in the program. I use the name "pCivilianCargo" instead of "sCargo".

the "s" means salvage, where "p" means pirate. That's the only reason those letters exist, to quickly differentiate the types at the glance of a filename. That means that you can define cargo into Civilian, Yamataian, etc.

I dislike having items in the list which there are only supposed to be one of. Multiple people could find this guy. Only-one-item-in-existance finds should be plot-only.

I also wonder which items you are duplicating, so as to increase their encounter rates. That's not listed here.

Otherwise, I like...
 
I suppose all of the "Garbage" items can be duplicated, since they are more junky than the rest.

It would be nice to see more starship parts.

NOT the super-good stuff, but medium-level mundane systems, engines, weapons, stuff like that which I could either sell or directly throw onto my boat.

Also, needs more monies. If there's not a way to pirate credits, make up some backups like gold or other precious metals and let me steal them.

Could sell a Journey Shuttle for about 12k if it is in good condition. Civilian Shuttle with such a high FTL speed? Plus the thing is built for comfort. Oh my yes.
 
These lists are for salvagers looting the more recent NMX battlefields.

I hope to eventually add the price to each item. Each has 100 items in order to be compatible with all SAIG versions.

Before we can start salvaging, we need:

- Star Army Salvage lists
- NMX Salvage list(s)
- Elysian Salvage list(s)

A word of caution: Please don't use this as a way to get your characters instantly rich, or claim other faction's tech. In particular, the lists probably shouldn't include abandoned starships anymore, since it's been a while since the war ended and things have been well picked-over. The program and lists are dated and probably need to be replaced.
