Ok guys came up with this a while go, while think of a way for tiny robotic crabs. I did mention it to Fay once, but its been like more than a month... actually two months so...

Fay, you probably needs to look over this.

I designed it primarily for the little crab robots I am making, but I did want to generalize it to other stuff if other people wanted to make Azorean tech. That way even Azorean Rills and pc's can climb up walls and, thanks to their tails, fire/dodge from a crouched position. :3

I apologize for the odd grammar rule, but I was trying to keep it as based on regular English as possible. Hopefully besides Sythseta/Sythsetae (pl.) most of the grammar should make sense... hopefully -_-;

So what do you guys think.

Edit 2: Ok, since Exhack asked. Generally I came up with this to allow my drones to climb walls and across rope. In fact, the swimming through sand thing is more of a secondary effect to help them have slightly better grip as they plunge into the sand. If the swimming things to confusing I can omit it out if need be. Anyways back to main purpose of helping the crabs climb walls and ropes well that can actually best be seen in this video:

However looking at http://blogs.nature.com/news/thegreatbe ... eckos.html, I thought to myself well if this helps small drones climb... then why not people? or Rill!?

I did think about doing a diagram to help but well, I cannot draw >>;
however, to at least give the reviews and idea of my word choice here is a diagram, from wikipedia, I labeled.

In the diagram, each seta would be of course a individual Sythseta
Since there are literally hundreds of them they are collectively called by their plural form.
The trick is I have to make this clearer so I don't need the diagram ^^
 
I looked it over, and it seems like an interesting idea. I could see the Rill using this, but Azoreans don't really climb up ropes or walls.. they just swim. Also, the Azoreans may be just a tad off on the tech level to create nanobots. I will have to confer with some of the tech-savy GMs to see what kind of level nanobots would be at in the grand scheme of things.

Cool, I am removing the mention of it for suits for people. Originally, I was not sure if you wanted this for the Azoreans or just Rill and little mini-Rill so I made it more broad.

Yeah I kinda forgot Azorea doesn't have many of land mass so most of the battles will be underwater not climbing 100 ft cliffs >>;.
