Every SAINT solider is excellent at what they do and are valued assets. The way you frame it makes her assignment seem negatively motivated—and it may seem that way to Rin-san, here—but from the perspective of my NPCs in "SAINT command," she was likely given her assignment because it's the best use of her skills. Again, it can seem like whatever in her eyes, but command doesn't put anyone "to pasture." Those people are dealt with in ways that don't involve giving them authority over Mishhuvurthyar interpreter hybrids.SAINT command saw it as a way to remove her from overseeing many people to overseeing a select few... The analyst was not blind to SAINT command's motivations, but she vowed she was not going to be put to pasture without a bang.
You can say she was given certain specific access to information from the Mishhuvurthyar Activities Division, if you'd like. They study the Umbrals, as does SARA, but I'm not the SARA manager. No biggie if you don't want to, but her knowledge has to come from somewhere and details are always good. Plus, good ST analysts can detect the seed like we've talked about elsewhere, so you might wanna mention that knowledge given the specialties that her career has driven her toward.Takomi quickly ramped herself up to understand the pursuit of Umbral physiology, psychic power and their mental infection prowess.
