Tech Approval and Cutting up Wiki entries.

I don't think there is an issue with this but I wanted to ask before I did anything as it isn't explicitly stated anywhere that this is ok.

Namely, is it alright to cut up already approved wiki articles to make new wiki articles without submitting them for approval?

For example, I was going to cut out and re-write the sensor systems of the C3 as a separate sensor package for ships so it can be reused elsewhere. A lot of the text would have to be rewritten but it is already approved tech so would it fall under the 'small changes don't need approval' rule?

Of course I could see this being problematic to a certain extent if allowed to be carried out on older articles that haven't been updated.

As long as it doesn't alter the functionality of the system, and you replace the C3a's fluff with links to those new articles, it should be fine.
