The Final Abwehran Infantry Kits

These will be my last Infantry designs for a while, since I need to build up more of my Factions Space, Ground, and Aerial Forces.

The first up is the Demolitions Kit to give Combat Engineers and Heavy Weapons Specialists the necessary tools to blow doors, walls, and fortified Bunkers.

Then comes the Tool Kit, which is pretty much the complete opposite of the Demolitions Kit.

I got no problems with the tool kit. So that is approved.

The demo kit has me wondering a few things.

1)The kit says it can be thrown as a satchel charge. At ADR 4. But, the whole brick of explosives also says it can do ADR 4.

2)Did you factor in the detcord and lock breaking charges when coming up with the final rating?

Actually, I was trying to do something along the lines of diminishing returns. However, I'll probably average it all out so it counts the other explosives inside the satchel.

One problem I found in this was that I forgot to give the Plasti-cord a DR. In light of that, I gave one roll a DR of 1 PDR.

So that means I have 7 explosive items all together:
  • 3x 1 ADR
    2x 4 ADR
    2x 1 PDR

or

  • 3x 5 PDR
    2x 20 PDR
    2x 1 PDR

If I just add it all together:
Code:
(3 x 5) + (2 x 20) + (2 x 1)

We get a total of 37 PDR or approximately 1 SDR rounding down.

I honestly don't think a satchel charge should have the equivalent of a tactical nuke, although it would be quite handy. But then again, 4 ADR is just a step below 1 SDR.

Do you think I should keep it at 4 ADR or move it to 1 SDR?

Well. I think keeping it at ADR 4 would work fine. ^^; I got no problems with the plasti-cord having that rating. However I'll keep the submission up for a day or two to see if anyone has anything else to say if that is agreeable.

Apparently I had a Math Fail moment. Probably because I was speeding through.

Anyway, it's actually 57 PDR, which means it's actually 2 SDR rounded down.

I'd still prefer it to be 4 ADR though.
