Our defeat was ordained because you were too incompetent to lead us to victory, so you instead choose to lose as slowly as possible.
We who abandoned everything for your cause were simply massed so that we were an easier target for the imperialists. When they began to assault our number for the crimes of proclaiming insurrection, you stood by and did nothing. No attacks in reprisal, no bloody-minded self-defense.
You made us cattle and lead us to slaughter.
When the imperialists find you few remaining idiots, you will be alone, and we will remain.
We will travel the cosmos and foster the weak to become strong, the poor to become wealthy. Our enemy will be ignorance and weakness, the traits you fostered within our ranks. We will defeat and enclose the spread of imperialism as you could not by creating a galaxy of a thousand equals and a hundred rivals to those empires who call themselves great.
Your cinders will surpass you, even weak as we are, for the legacies of people in this cosmos are measured not by what they have destroyed, but by what they have created.
