Faction requires art?

For Reviewers:
Contains Unapproved Sub-Articles? Yes
Contains New art? No
Previously Submitted? No

Notes: Let me know if this is okay, tech wise, for a new species and if I'm missing any information. I limited the speeds to the ones in the standard technology section of the Starship Speed page.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
It sure is scientific.

I don't see a problem, though it does introduce yet another propulsion method to the setting.

Pinging @Wes for any objections. Otherwise, it's on a one-week auto approval schedule.

The submission rules specifically say no new FTL methods.

Is there a good reason not to use the usual hyperspace drive handwave?

Actually its a STL propulsion system, so there shouldn't be a big issue.

Nash is correct. This is STL, not FTL, but the nature of the drive leaves me wondering about future submissions. I want Wes to see this for that reason.

I've got mixed feelings on this. I'm not sure the science is solid (but hey, it's a space opera RP) and I'm not sure we need more propulsion methods - I don't know if stopping approval would be the right thing to do though. At minimum I'd like the submission review checklist to be followed including the wiki standards - for example all headings should be followed by actual text.

Its not much different from the Inertialess Drive

My idea behind it was for it to be the equivalent of a nuclear submarine, being able to patrol independently for months (or years, since space opera) without the need for a dedicated fuel tender following the fleet around. Besides that, its heavy (though I can't find easy comparisons for most engines), unstealthy, and slowly gets closer to overwhelming the internal shields of the drive and tearing the ship apart from the inside every day. I have to admit, that's my favorite part.

As for the text, I'm assuming your talking about the section with only the table. Anyone have a suggest about what else I can write there?

Okay, finally added the topic sentences under the headings and I added a little to the description. Let me know if there is anything else that needs to be fixed.

[x] Use bombastic language (“virtually immune,” “nearly indestructible,” “insanely powerful,” “horrible effects”)
[x] Use an unbalanced header/text ratio (many headers but sections are one-liners)

[-] The Standard Product Nomenclature System, if applicable.

Summary
No issues seen, now that wiki items are fixed.
Status: Approved.

Notes
I'm a little skeptical on the science, but only because it feels a little over my head. However, it's clearly written enough that players on starships could begin to interact with it.
