To: Star Army Fleet Depot

The Yamatai - Scientific Studies Service (Y-SSS) would like to purchase three out of service Nozomi scout vessels. We intend to use them to construct prototypes of new class civilian research vessel for use by the Y-SSS.

As these are intended for civilian usage, certain systems will not be required. The following systems are not required and can be removed or disabled:
  • Ablative Armor
  • KFY Type 27 Superheavy Weapon
  • KFY Type 29 Phased Pulse Cannon
  • KFY Type 27 Torpedo Tube
  • Type 31 Electronic Warfare Suite

In addition to these we would like to purchase a salvaged Kessaku Electronics’ computer for use in our Primary Campus.

Price is negotiable.

Nozomi-class Scouts are not available for private sale and none are stocked in the depot. How about Yui-class? We have those.

That is fine. We were not aware that there were still Yui's available, otherwise we would have asked for them. We can work with this frame for our prototype.

Because of your status as a government agency, three Yui-class Scouts have been assigned to you at no cost.
 
That will be acceptable, we will use them to help us determine what our exact needs will be when we eventually contact Ketsurui Fleet Yards regarding constructing a civilian science vessel.

Were you able to locate a salvaged Kessaku Electronics’ computer?
 
Yes. Please send the site she will be installed at.
 
The computer is to be installed at the Y-SSS primary campus at Kyoto, Yamatai.

Back in YE 30, the Depot was gracious enough to supply us three Ki-D2-5b - Yui 5 Recon-Scout

We are returning these to the Star Army as we no longer require their service given our Tansaku-Class ships successful roll out, and given the war have determined they would be better used being refit to the Yui-7 class and used by the Military.

We thank you for the use of these ships.
