Asarthotar Palace - Secure Location
In a remote location of Asarthotar palace there was a room Aelya had hoped to never see used. Great pains had been taken to ensure the security of this room, in the event matters of an extremely sensitive nature arose. It had purposely been left off any plans for construction and those that had built it were members of Sphiir that would never spill its secrets. In order to access the room they needed authorization from the Aester directly. If Aelya was for some reason incapacitated, Cheol was the only other person that could gain or grant access. Sphiir had acquired experimental technology from Lo’ken Institute that would prevent any electronic signals, scanners, or nanite-capable equipment from penetrating its walls. If absolutely necessary, two authorization codes could alter its settings to allow only what was necessary for the security of Tsenlan through. The only two that held these codes were Aester Aelya Eitan and Senator Cheol Eitan. There was just one form of communication allowed within its dimly lit facets, vesper.
This was no space for happy comfortable gatherings, as its appearance would make clear to those unfortunate enough to find themselves inside. Lighting reminiscent of nearly midnight filled every corner, it was just enough that a norian would feel comfortable traversing in. The walls were cold and dark, free of any decoration minus the glowing lights of Auhnono Wave on its far end. In the center there was a long oval table that stood as the only furniture in this solitary chamber. There was a room that one entered before this, its sole purpose was to prevent any unwanted observers from peeking in when the doors to the secure chamber opened.
As Aelya approached the outer room with a guest she cursed to herself in Nira’las. This room was never supposed to be used, everything was supposed to have been fine and her brother alive. A quiet, “woosh” sound was heard as the door to the secure room’s outer zone. It closed immediately behind the women after they entered. A few seconds after the outer door closed, the inner door to the secure room opened. Its dim facade lit only by auhnono wave’s glow on the back wall. In the room stood Aelya in a black uniform with black cage earrings dangling from each ear, the only symbol of mourning she had the luxury to display. There was no time for anything else as circumstances lent her no time for such extravagances.
Across the table from Aelya stood a white haired norian woman with matching black uniform. Aelya’s arms crossed just under her chest as she sighed softly. “This time of comfortable peace has come to an end.” Aelya vespered to the norian across from her.
