MEMORANDUM

1. MOS updates:

1. 18 line of MOSs are now merged into the 02 line (Admin/Clerical)
2. MOS number of Star Army Public Affairs Officer is changed from 18P to 02P
3. MOS number of Star Army Combat Camera is changed from 18C to 02C

2. Uniform updates:

1. The Type 42 Duty Uniform may now optionally be worn with bare legs instead of tights.
2. The Type 42 Duty Uniform may now be worn using boots in combination with tights or bare legs.
3. Use of the Star Army Belt (Types 35 and 22) and carrying of a sidearm is now optional with the Type 42 Duty Uniform.

1. I authorize the following military occupational specialties:

1. Heavy Mecha Pilot
2. Aetheric Energy Specialist
3. Creature Handling Specialist
4. Dental Specialist
5. Construction Specialist
6. Psychological Operations Specialist

2. I authorize Star Army Personnel Command to create and administrative a system for qualifications of Star Army of Yamatai personnel, which can track special qualifications that coexist with Military Occupational Specialty, such as:

1. Medical Certification
2. Pilot Certification(s)
3. Vehicle Operator Certifications
4. any other certifications as determined to be necessary by the Director of Star Army Personnel

3. Uniform updates:

1. Star Army unit commanders may authorize use of a Star Army Regal Blue pullover sweater as required, to be worn with the duty uniforms, with a turtleneck or V-neck collar, solid color, and free of any designs other than the Star Army Hinomaru insignia.

1. Exchange Program updates:

1. At the Request of the Empress of Yamatai, Her Imperial Majesty Himiko I of Yamatai, the Star Army Exchange Program shall be amended to permit exchange soldiers and officers to be trained in the use of Star Army of Yamatai equipment and to utilize Star Army equipment to participate in missions as necessary.

MEMORANDUM

1. MERN Integration Policy

1. Star Army Personnel Command is hereby authorized by my authority to place active members of MERN (the military of Noria) who are joining the Star Army of Yamatai at an equivalent rank, according to the needs of the Star Army of Yamatai, on a case-by-case basis.
2. Joining MERN members can immediately be assigned to Star Army assignments such as ships and bases. These MERN are both authorized and required to take in-person or remote correspondence courses with the appropriate Star Army Training Administration institutions to train them and familiarize them with the Star Army versions of their occupations and must complete Star Army training by the end of YE 45 or the earliest on-time graduation date set by the educational institution (if longer).
