Various Faction Christmas?

I think I'm posting this ins the correct area :p

Anywho, I've often had to wonder, outside of Yamatai what do other factions do in regards to Christmax? Do they have a similiar holiday?

Welp, the Neshaten 'do', have a holiday somewhat like Christmas, except its less about gift giving and more about remembrance and helping out others through hard times. For the Neshies, the last fifteen days of the second half of the year are devoted to helping out others, stores lower their prices on food and goods, fuel becomes free for those fifteen days and travel agencies charge half price on tickets (which is why, during those fifteen days, teh space ports become an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!!)

Now, this doesn't mean that gift giving won't happen - in fact - I can kind of foresee this holiday changing somewhat with first contact with Yammy being done and also the HSC.

What about other faction though?

The Raiken clans celebrate the holiday season with food. A lot of it. Large feasts that last several hours are common. Make merry, and all that jazz.

@LittleWasp I'm interested to see if your I'ee have any holidays., or how they would act on human holidays. I can imagine Sammy in a little Santa outfit handing out little juice boxes to his friends on Christmas or something. That would be pretty adorable. Or the I'ee could dress up as elves for Christmas and help Uso deliver presents.

The I'ee don't have holidays of their own, no. Outside of science and related topics, time doesn't mean all that much to them besides when they take a nap. The Ee'ith would probably enjoy the concept once it was explained to them, though. You could definitely dress Sammy up as a little elf.
