Virtual reality themed serial

I've created a non-SARP scifi serial novel with a virtual reality theme. The first 5 chapters are available now. It's called Re:life and the premise is basically this:
Disease caused apocalpse.
Virtual reality is disease free.
Humanity now exists solely in virtual reality.
Virtual reality has viruses.
"Generals" fight viruses.
Johnny is a General.
Layla is not.
Johnny loves Layla.
Will their love survive a new virus threat?

The premise certainly is interesting! If I wasn't doing exam prep, I'd read it in a bit more detail!
