Good news: We've been getting a lot of new players lately. That's excellent and I hope to help them feel very much at home.
Bad news: In an unrelated trend, we've also been getting a lot of bot trying to sign up to the boards. Because the forums require activation via email, these bots are not able to sign up and post, but are still able to register. I'm sure some of you have seen their names on the "newest user" thing is and found out the hard way, but for those of you who don't know already, don't click on the strange URLs of strange names that register for the boards! The last couple bots have put links to incest sites in their profiles. Not cool. Usually these bots sign up with a European (like .de) or Russian (.ru) email and their names often have numbers at the end. If you see any of these fake users, please report them to me so I can delete them as soon as possible.
Thanks.
