I lol'd. Yes, I agree, since if anything has design rules, with very little specialist knowledge it can be replicated.

The only hard thing about making a nuclear weapon is acquiring the resources and simulation testing since you obviously can't field test it until the big day.
 
This does not in any way count as news.

Weve been called "para-nuclear" by numerous people for fucking decades - this is to say, we have the materials, technology, and knowledge to build a working nuclear arsenal. We choose not to because we still have droves of people dying of leukemia and lymphoma after the last two went off here.

Even psycho-militant Abe isnt interested in having a nuclear array.

That said, the article is more about Aso, the foreign minister, saying we have no constitutional restrictions on building them. Again, not news. We have no right to even have the 240,000 SDF soldiers that we have under our constitution, so hes flat out wrong.

But our constitution has been pretty meaningless since the US decided it wanted a buffer state against the USSR back in the 70s.
