1. We're talking about a 10 mm-wide bullet that maybe, maybe, is 40 mm long. That's generous, but I don't know -- can we get a bullet measurement?

2. Even if it's at 40 mm long, the three specialty rounds you list are pretty hard to accept.
  • a. The SGHEAP isn't detailed enough in its navigation system, but I would not bother. I'm rejecting that round as being beyond reasonable belief.
  • b. The HEIAP I can accept, but we're talking about a pretty small amount of HE and a very small penetrator. Maybe 3 or 4 mm in diameter? If it's anti-armor, I'm not sure that's really going to be useful.
  • c. The airburst just does not seem useful. Even if you build the round like an total-metal-jacketed round and stuff every last cubic millimeter with explosive, it's hardly going to do much against armor, and against unarmored targets it's basically a flashbang. The round is too small. I'm rejecting this too.
  • d. Can you detail the ball ammunition? What is its composition, for instance.
3. Can we get a bullet weight for the ball? Understanding it's heavier than the 7 mm round ...

Removed the refused rounds, added in a bullet weight (420 Grams seemed reasonable), and filled in the maximum and effective ranges and muzzle velocities. Also detailed the ball ammunition.

420 grams is mathematically impossible. The materials you use aren't that dense.

I'd stick with about 40 g for the ball. Use a Durandium jacket and a Neri-Dura core. Cut the HEIAP to about 20 g.

You also need to cut the ranges in half. I had to do that too for the LASR, so don't sweat it.
