2 vs. 2

Prizes:
1st place...$150 each
2nd place...$ 75 each
3rd place....$ 50 each
4th place....$ 25 each

Also:
A banner proclaiming you the winner.
An announcement in GUA Hall of Fame as to the awesomeness of your rping abilities.

Also needed, volunteers to be judges. And yes, you do have to prove you know how to judge.

If you would like, you may advertise your forums in the subforum we will have set up for you to do so. Also, you may have a banner in your signature with a link to your forum. You also have the choice if you want to affiliate. These are options that are available for you.

You have a choice to bring a friend you enjoy rping with, or if you don't know someone, we will have the meat pit to help you find a partner to rp with for the tournament.

Limitation: One character per person.

We do ask that you make a character profile on GUA, you can utilize the one you have on your own forum or make a new one, this is your choice. All we ask is a basic character sheet to say what you can magically and physically do.

I skimmed over the forum in question and found very little information on what you were looking for exactly in term of a character sheet. There is no particular standard set and no ruling really outlined in the forum section itself (though the few bios I've perused seem to indicate a hit-and-miss process).

I'd like clearer guidelines. If I would invest myself in this I want to know what you expect to get. That might also be heavily influent on my character choice too.

I mean, out of my two Mega Man-based android characters (which are tech-oriented), my oldest (and thankfully legit) D&D character and my bio-genetically engineered catwoman... it'd help me know what to pick! ^_^;

Goddamn Kylen, the links are just there straight in front of your eyes! If you have some interest, bother clicking them!

*shrugs* Well, maybe you should bother yourself with clicking on the title URL to be brought to the forum?

Krystin, I found out I could scroll down and see forum topics part of the main thread. i had previously only noticed the subforums, but not the thread content of the main forum section proper. It looks like there's the info I need there, so, I'll go and peruse it.

edit: *groan* No tangible character submission information

It looks interesting, but not interesting enough for me to take the time to absorb all the knowledge in the forums into my mind. Which is sort of what I need to do to get into an RP.

The character information is what you want, you can look at other characters, some people got really involved with their characters in which some are really good and some are...uhm...not quite as good... We ask for a character write up to give you and your opponents a sense of who your character will be. Also, to give the mods a chance to see if your character is too powerful, as there is no god modding. There will be people with magic, guns, ect... We didn't want to limit people, because what one group is use to utilizing for characters is not what another group is use too. What it comes down to is good writing....

The added benefits, advertise your forum in the advertising section we have for you...get to know people from other forums, let them know what your forum is about so they become curious to check it out. It will be a good way to help pull people. Also...what we are hoping to get started with this is a round robin so after one tournament is done another forum starts one up for all to participate in and so on and so on, so every forum ends up hosting a tournament for all to participate in and get their forums known a little bit more and get a good rp base going.

We have decided to give the judges $50 for their services...but, you have to prove you do know how to judge. So, if anyone wants to try out for a judging spot we can definitely use someone with expertise.

Where is all this money coming from?
