Chiasa remained standing by her station, she could easily monitor the equipment without being seated. "Thank you Nitô Juni Jayne for the update. Although I fail to see how this 'impromptu' visit or inspection is going to truly improve our success on this mission. Unless somehow the Taisho feels that the command staff of this ship is not up to the task and is using this inspection to quantify. But then again organics are still confusing to me sometimes." she replied to the MEGAMI.

Takako’s avatar appeared suddenly next to the yard worker with a mildly disapproving expression on her projected face. That sort of mistake was a sign of sloppy, careless work, something Takako was literally designed to dislike. Still, yards were always hard-pressed and overworked - something she could well remember - so there seemed little point in expressing her displeasure to this specific individual.

“Very well,” she said via the projection. “I expect to be informed promptly of any further errors requiring my attention.”

The two MARI drones seemed best suited to the task and so she detailed a thread to peel off and guide them to the nearest airlock at their best possible speed. She’d focus her attention and further resources once the drones arrived and got a look at the problem surfaces. In the meantime, she continued her personal inspection of Engineering. The Admiral would arrive soon enough and she wanted the compartment in as pristine a condition as possible. Though she was keeping herself peripherally aware of the officer’s location and progress, she wasn’t monitoring too closely; listening in would be rude, after all.

With only one more task immediately at hand, Takako flitted a thread quickly into the ship’s internal comms systems. She supposed she could have projected another avatar again, but the message was brief and it was possible the fleshier crew might find sudden appearances and disappearances of an avatar disconcerting or at least distracting.

“Bridge, Engineering. The yard crew has sourced the sensor faults. I have units en route to assess the specifics and begin repairs. Will keep you apprised.”

Meiko nods and salutes her superior officer and turns to look at Ume, her eyes focusing on her. Before she moved over to the 'thief' she crosses her arms a bit looking her over again before sighing. "Alright, lets get this over with." She stretches a moment and then will follow Ume's lead, since she was the one with a goal. She did however, intend to follow the orders of restocking once Ume was done.

Ume looked at Meiko and gave her a big smile, despite being called a thief the neko did not feel any guilt or shame and so she had no reason to not be happy. "We have to get there before the Taisho shows up or we'll be in trouble", the purple skinned woman spoke with a tone that made it hard to tell if she was really worried about the situation. However she was soon out the door with the supplies that she needed to properly restock the first-aid station. Ume's pace was rather quick taking full strides with each step, but staying upright and presentable in case the Taisho was around the corner.

Hanger

The trio had returned, each of the girls selecting their own lockers to store their flight suits. Tama even had her own miniature suit to stow inside one of the smaller sized lockers. "I hope my Sylph made it on board safely." "I'm, like, totally sure it did, Crasher." "Yeah, it's probably safely tucked away next to our Mindys." The two taller Neko reassured the Mini, who nodded and perked up a bit. She landed on Tru's shoulder as the girls headed back to their cabin yet again. "Don't worry so much Ga-chan! Worse case, you'll be my co-pilot for a sortie or two, then they'll see you can handle yourself in action." "The important thing is, we'll still be working together, no matter what!" "...totally!" The group burst into giggles as they entered their cabin again, rearranging a few items now that the flight suits were no longer taking up space.

Med Lab

The doors soon opened and Taisho Kinsaka walked into the brightly lit med lab, her eyes scanning from right and slowly moving toward the left where they soon settled on a few of the ships crew - which she couldn't tell if they were supposed to be here or if they were up to no good; although her gut was telling it was the latter.

Medical Lab

Nenene followed Kinsaka into the compartment. She spotted the present crew and took in the state of the space. "So here we have the medical lab" she said and eyed the other people there. She hoped they were doing what they were supposed to be doing. If not she figured she would have them clean the waste management system with toothbrushes.

Chiasa sent a simple 'Thank you for the update.' to Takako. This standing around waiting for the Taisho to come around and inspect was counterproductive. She turned to the other soldiers. "While we are waiting for our VIP to arrive. Perhaps it would a better use of our time to run some simulations. The MEGAMI can easily provide them. It would be better if we were being productive when the Taisho comes onto the bridge rather than just standing waiting."

The MEGAMI stood there silently listening to the science office. At the mention of the simulations Jayne set a list of avaible simulations to Chiasa's station.

Ship to Ship Combat
Damage Control
Basic Piloting Operations
Basic Gunnery Operations
Escort Operations
Simulated Bridge Assault

Jayne was sure that the bridge crew could handle any one of the simulations, the odds she calculated proved it, the question was could they handle them with being new to the ship and each other.

The part of her that monitored such things noted receipt of Chiasa’s reply, but her main focus was on the data feeds streaming in from the drones. Having cycled through the airlock they were now drifting nearer the indicated area using their onboard thrusters. With a burst of momentum killing thrust the MARIs came to a halt relative to the Soyokaze and began scanning the hull plating. Takako was fairly sure the fix would be relatively simple - a mere matter of unmounting the plates, rerouting the cabling, and finally remounting the plates. But she wanted a thorough scan of the area first, an exact idea of the extent and scale of the task at hand beyond the yard worker’s general description. After all, she was intrinsically of the existential view that one could never, ever possibly have enough data.

Meiko slowly followed after Ume, however on their way out the Taisho and the person showing the Taisho around walked in. She took a moment only to turn and salute both the Taisho and Nenene, leaving a moment for respect, then she quickly turned and headed out to fulfill the duty she was given.

///Corridor///

Meiko followed Ume staying straight as well. She wasn't sure what Ume needed with medical supplies, but she was going to fulfill her job to the letter. She kept up with the Neko, and eventually spoke up sighing a bit in the process. "Why do you need these Medical Supplies anyway?" She asked curiously. "Did you or someone you know already hurt themselves before we even took off?" She ran her fingers through the baseline of her hair and then brings it back to the back of her head where she lightly rubbed her head in slight confusion. She hoped there was nobody incompetent enough on the ship to get hurt within the first few hours of lift off, but you could never know because accidents happen.

Ume had given both the Taisho and Nenene a salute and then a bow to excuse herself. As she walked down the halls with Meiko she spoke up to answer the question. "No one is hurt..I don't think. But there was a big crowd of people in front of one of the cabins, then they left. I think one of them was supposed to stock the first aid station but did not do it properly." After a bit of walking she arrived at where she needed to be, in front of the station for the the first wing of the crew cabins. She opened it up and started putting everything in that needed to be there, to her own delight she had grabbed the perfect amount of stuff, which didn't seem like anything special to most people, but it meant Ume had completed her first assignment on a star ship, even if it was one she gave herself.

Med Lab

Kinsaka watched the two leave, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Hold it," she said with her eyes now closed as she turned to address them. "Hold it right there," she walked up behind the two soldiers. Taking medical supplies wasn't a crime, naturally, but it was the suspicious nature these two were giving off that had got her attention. "Where are you taking those supplies?" she asked.

///Corridor-Med Lab//

Meiko paused a moment and turned to the Taisho and salutes again. "We were told to stock up the first aid station near the Cabins by Chief Medical Officer Henry Blake, Ma'am. We were on our way to do that just now." She stands saluted, she was slightly in awe, but also slightly scared, she did not wish to get in trouble on her first job, at least not on the very first day. But yet, here she was, being questioned by the Taisho herself... Life was just funny sometimes like that. The blue haired woman was almost holding her breath at this point in nervousness.

Ume was stopped by the Taisho as she tried to walk away, she didn't really mind however and turned around to face her with a smile. The purple neko was just all smiles and sunshine as Meiko spoke to the Taisho. She nodded in agreement to what Meiko said and gestured to the supplies. She did however have enough sense not to explain why she thinks the station was empty though cause that would be pretty much throwing someone under a bus. "The station was missed, and I noticed it while doing a light cleaning. It'd be bad if someone fell there is pretty much only antiseptic there."

Med Lab

Nenene stepped into the discussion at this point. "Taisho, I ordered that all stations be double checked and confirmed to be ready before we depart from the yards" she said.

The girls had left their rooms yet again, heading out to explore the ship. All they had seen so far was the path from the entrance to their cabin, and from there to the Hanger. They still needed to nail down where all of the other important places were located, like where they'd be eating. Or Medical, I guess. Soga was still chattering with the others, this time flying backwards slightly ahead of them to keep up with the conversation. "I know, right? It's like-" "Ga-chan, watch out!" "Crasher!"

There was a soft thud and a sharp yelp of surprise as the Mini-Neko ran directly into one of the other crew members gathered around the entrance to the Med Lab. Soga quickly bobbed up and away, pouting as she rubbed her head. "Oww~" "You really need to watch where you're going." Tru shook her head, as Caramel sighed. "Just Crasher being Crasher..." It took a moment for the trio to register the group they'd stumbled into, three sets of eyes slowly going wide.

There were four different areas where the plates were over tightened. Records would show that it was down by three different yard dogs, but what the records didn't show was the fact it was all done with the same damaged torque wrench. The AI's bots were able to locate the plates quite easily because of the directions the yard dogs gave Takako. Once the plates were removed the targeting sensor cables were pinched near the bolting points. The big factor was the ship was built for these section to be replaced with ease and the bundles had easy patch segments.

Chiasa reviewed the options the computer gave them. She took a moment to determine which would be the most beneficial given the nature of their assignment. Several she ruled out because she did not want to involve other sections, so she selected Ship to Ship Combat. She turned to the others, "Man your stations and prepare for training simulation."

She sent the command for the MEGAMI to select a random enemy, and supply type and number of craft.

Outside Medical

"Might want to triple check those, just to be safe, nothing like going out on your first mission only to discover some stations are missing items... that includes the damage control stations. If you don't have the needed items, just let the station know," said Taisha Kinsaka. "Anyway, you two can-" her voice was cut off when the girls had stumbled into them, causing the Admiral to sigh and look over at Nenene.
