Ise Nenene was about to add her own commentary to the situation when she heard the muffled 'thud!' of an impact and saw something small collide with the Taisho.

The XO/SAINT Operative eyed the collection of pilots, they had to be the pilots from that band she had head was being assigned to the Soyokaze. Of course, just what she needed. She stepped out into the corridor, arms crossed over the white chest panel of her command officer uniform.

"Nito Hei's Truly Venus, Caramel Tart, Soga Tama" Nenene knew all their names. She had made a point of looking up the ID's of all of the ships crew and filing it into her digital memory, "Should you not be watching where you are going?" she inquired levelly. She knew some Mini's had the habit of bumping into things, lower levels of situational awareness, she had five sisters that were all mini's and had been one herself early in her own life, but that was not an excuse for colliding with an Admiral and embarrassing the Executive Officer in front of a member of the Flag staff. Though as far as she could remember at least her sister Momoka, all 7.7 inches of orange haired fury tha she was, did not seem to have an issue with situational awareness like the others.

Tama had drifted back over towards her friends as the three stared at the scene they'd stumbled into. The Mini's mouth was moving, but nothing was coming out, as she tried to work up an apology. As they were addressed, all three jerked to attention, Soga's mouth snapping shut. "Yes ma'am." "Sorry ma'am." "T-to..." The two Neko both glared at their smaller friend as hard as they could, successfully willing her silent. The Mini whimpered and simply bowed in midair as a response.

They stayed quiet, resisting the urge to attempt any sort of explanation or further apology. None of them wanted to speak out of turn during such a delicate situation. Tru's eyes darted around as she finally noticed the two lower ranking crew members. Witnesses. This story would probably be all over the ship by dinner.

Ume watched this little event transpire, she was worried that the Mini would get in trouble but it was looking like everything would turn out okay. She wasn't sure what to do now, it had sounded like the Taisho was going to say something but she had not been dismissed. The purple neko however did not look like she had any intention of spreading gossip however. In fact she still looked worried, like she wanted to pat the mini on the head and make sure she was okay.

Meiko paused a moment as the Taisho started to speak, only to have someone bump into her. She took a moment to watch what was going on, she didn't speak up however, as this wasn't her position to do so. She was worried for the little ones, but if they were going to run around without watching where they were going then perhaps this wasn't a job for them. She stayed in upright position awaiting further orders, dismissal, or otherwise.

Kinsaka sighed and stared toward the mini's and the others there. "Keep an eye on your surroundings, even if you think the way is clear there might be something there that you may not see initially," she stood there for a moment and then nodded. "You are dismissed, but be more careful in the future please..."

Outside Medical

There was nothing else for Nenene to add to the conversation at that point. She let her eyes linger on the collection of pilots for a moment, making a mental note to keep an eye on those three in the future.

"Shall we continue with the inspection?" she asked after a moment, redirecting her attention back to Taisho Kinsaka.

Engineering

Takako controlled the drones directly as the plates were unbolted. Her models showed an overwhelming likelihood that the damage was exactly what it appeared to be but it simply wasn’t in her nature to leave things to chance - no matter how statistically unlikely, unless the extra effort was needlessly inefficient. In this case she could well spare a thread to take over for the drones' relatively limited capabilities. Under her supervision the MARIs moved from plate to plate, moving them to float a precise two meters from the surface of the hull as they were removed. Once all were clear the drones swept through the area, pinpointing the exact runs of cabling that displayed damage.

With the area surveyed - and then double checked - and Takako satisfied all of the trouble spots had been picked out the drones removed each faulty segment, floating them off to the side in a group before making a final pass to install the replacement runs. The drones then backed off, holding station alongside the floating hull plates. Flitting out of the drones’ systems - with the work done for the moment it was a waste of clock time, however insignificant - her gestalt seamlessly traded off priority to her communications thread.

Bridge, Engineering. New cable runs in place. I am running independent diagnostics. Please keep me informed of any results on your end.” She pinged Jayne with the message too as her core thread triggered an analysis through her Engineering systems. Between her efforts, a direct review from the Bridge, and confirmation of the MEGAMI-FCS uplinks by the other AI, Takako would be satisfied of sufficiently redundant testing to be convinced the repair was a success.

The lights flickered on all the displays. A alarm, kept to the bridge alone, sounded followed shortly by the weapons officer calling out to the bridge. "Contact, Contact! Boggy bearing at 180 deg by 140 degs, Large cross-section, Running indent Now!"

The rest of the bridge started to go about bringing the ship to combat readiness, simulated orders flashed from the bridge to the flight decks and PA ready rooms for Combat stations. (none of these orders left the bridge, of coarse, being a bridge only combat simulation.)

////
Jayne watching the simulation starting to run kept 60% of her attention to running the simulation and then devoted the other to the Engineer, "Sensors and alignment seems up to par, The bridge is running a training simulation. I will pass the information on as soon as they complete it."

The large Kodian cleared his throat and looked at the Admiral and the XO of the ship. "Is there Something i can help you with, Misses? I have a full work up of the Med bay, and full reports ready to go, As for the first two Hei's there, I was going to have them go to each of the ship's hundred damage control stations and make sure that they were properly stocked medically."

Chiasa monitored the simulation via her link to the console and her observation of the soldiers. She was 'pleased' if that was the proper term that the bridge crew was using the proper amount of sense of urgency.

When Takako reported that the repairs to the sensors were complete, she initiated a sensor calibration check, while monitoring the activity around her. In the simulation mode she locked onto the 'hostiles' and provided speed, trajectory and position to the tactical personnel.

When the calibration check passed, she sent an acknowledgement of the repair work completion, and that the system appeared to be operating within design parameters.

Ume gave a slight bow to the superior officers and then went on her way to head for the station that needed to be restocked. She wanted to stay an chat since there were so many people, but she knew that time was valuable during the initial phases of a shuttle launch, and she was on duty as well so she did not have time to play around even if it wasn't the launch. She soon arrived at the first-aid station and started to to refill it. She turned to Meiko as she stocked "I heard him say we were stocking all the stations?"

Engineering

Takako noted receipt of the replies and instantly sent the drones into motion. The hull plates were each returned to position and bolted down to the correct tightness. She handled this herself, stepping back in to control the MARIs. Every systems had its inaccuracies and imprecisions, so she was pleased when she managed to keep every bolt emplacement within a deviation of 14 micronewton-meters. She didn’t see any immediate red-flags from the diagnostics she kept running during the plate reinstallation. As such she considered the task done - for the moment - and moved on to other tasks, leaving only a minor thread to continue monitoring the sensor runs. The drones were released to police up the damaged cable segments and dispose of them on the way back to Engineering. A brief report was fired off to the yard's shift commander, informing him of the fix, along with copies to the Bridge and Jayne.

With her human subordinates largely returned from freshening up and checking appearances before inspection, she dismissed the PAs. They marched out of the compartment and back to storage. Takako herself slipped into the Mainspace’s volumetric projectors and constituted her avatar near the main displays. She still didn’t want to snoop on the Taisho’s progress and so wanted to be ready whenever it came up her turn for inspection.

Outside Medical

Tama gulped as she was stared at like that, quivering in midair. She seemed even more relieved than the others when they were finally dismissed. "Yes ma'am." "Sorry ma'am." "...." Crasher remembered to keep her mouth shut this time, the three bowing before turning and hurrying off as fast as they could, without seeming too obvious about running away. Tru made sure to lead them in the opposite direction of the two that were leaving Medical to begin stocking duties, disappearing into the corridors of the ship as they promptly got lost, not sure where they had wound up after their rapid retreat.

Main Boarding Gangway / Airlock

A tiny, China-doll figure began floating her way towards the Soyokaze, pulling what looked like an extremely light, foldable gravitic baggage cart. Head to toe, the little being barely made 8 inches; she had the Neko ears, but not the typical size. She had emerald green eyes with a jet black bob-cut under her head dress, and wore a white panelled uniform.

Upon reaching the airlock, the miniature Neko set her cart to rest and brought herself to a floating attention. She then offered a salute to the inside calling out in her tiny, delicate voice, "Tenno Hotaru Shoi Kohosei reporting. Permission to come aboard?"

The infantry on guard nearly felt the need to both question what was going on and give an eye-roll; however given the circumstances they just checked the clerk off their list as they saluted. "Permission granted, Ma'am," the higher ranking one offered, "Welcome aboard the Soyokaze."

Hotaru brought her salute down, followed by the guards, and looked around herself. "Thank-you, Heisho," she offered with a nod, "Which way to the cabins? I would like to relieve myself of my things before checking in to my office." The larger Neko obliged, allowing the smaller to offer her thanks again before grabbing a hold of her cart to head in that direction.

Meiko bowed to the Taisho and Nenene, before turning and following Ume, a slight sigh when she heard her superior officer say they were stocking the entirety of the ship. This was going to be difficult, but soon she and Ume reached the first medical station that they needed to stock and she nods a bit. "That's what I heard... Looks like our day has been decided for us then, which is alright. Better to be safer then sorry."

Outside MedBay

Kinsaka nodded upon hearing the Kodians words, before looking at Nenene. "Engineering next?" she asked, glancing in the direction that the mini's took off in.

Outside Medical

Nenene nodded. "This way, please" she gestured for the Admiral to follow her down the passage to the vertical tunnel that would take them down to the engineering levels.

"As you can see there is still a little work to do" she was saying as they moved along, "But we will be ready to depart on time"

Corridor

Ume quickly got everything in in the station and then did a check to make sure everything that needed to be there was. "I think I'll be fun. We get to see the whole ship too." She had a large grin on her face at the thought of getting to tour the ship and not get in trouble for not working.

Crew Lounge

After another few turns, the trio found themselves in the Lounge. Tru collapsed onto a couch, immediately followed by Caramel, with Tama bouncing off the armrest before landing. They all seemed relieved, taking a moment to catch their breath before Venus spoke up. "Crasher, you've gotta be more careful! It's a new ship, we've gotta make a good impression!" "Yeah, you think they'll let you pilot a fighter by yourself if you can't even navigate the hallways safely?" Tart reached over to prod the Mini, who whimpered pitifully.

After a bit more teasing, the two larger Neko relented and began to console their friend. Tru knew they couldn't stay here for long, before another officer would find them loafing and give them more busywork.

Officer Cabin 2

Upon arrival at her assigned cabin, Hotaru sent the command to open and floated in. As soon as she noticed the size of the room the feeling of surprise hit her; however instead of dropping a jaw, she knit her brows and frowned slightly, causing the lines on her face to curve. The excess of space concerned her greatly, and the fact that she also had an office to deal with in addition to this was a little overwhelming. She would need to find away to more effectively use the space; perhaps with help from engineering if someone had a few spare cycles.

Once fully inside, the clerk had the door close before laying her cart down flat for unpacking. The Mini then carefully removed the bungee straps, one at a time, using her hands, arms, legs, and feet to unclip and release the tension from them. She then worked at the zipper of the bag, both hands on a key ring that had been added, as she walked backwards from one end to the other.

The duffel now open, the officer cadet set her cap on the bed before making her way in, to pull out the things she needed. First, she floated out with a contraption made of wire that had a hoop about one inch in diameter in the middle, and two hook like protrusions on the ends. Hotaru took it up and into the locker, hanging it where a hat should go, then put her own cap on one of the hooks. She then went back to the bag, exiting with her jacket to hang it on the other before working on unpacking the rest.

Meiko helped Ume stock the medical cabinet, before looking at her listening to her statement. Meiko felt a slight tinge of amusement from the excitement shown on Ume's face. She couldn't help but give a little smirk, taking a breath she shakes her head lightly. "I suppose you're right, it'll be fun, plus I love following orders.. So lets work hard and show that we're worth our place on this ship." She begins heading towards the next location, moving in a straight, quick stride. After a bit of walking though she looks at Ume.

"So why don't you tell me something about yourself Ume, I mean might as well get to know the people you'll be spending the long months with, right?" She smiles a bit towards Ume.
