Ume followed after Meiko, letting her take the lead she assumed Meiko knew where she was going and figured it wouldn't be a problem. "Something about myself?" She went into thought for a moment to think on that, she was a young neko so she had not lived out much of a life yet. "Well I am one year old and my full name is Hatoyama Ume. I like swimming and playing board games, but I don't like plums."

Officer Cabin 2

After emptying her bag and rolling it up, then along the floor into her locker, Hotaru gently floated up onto her bed and sat down on it. Looking around her it soon became difficult not to envision soccer nets at either end and a Star Army Hinomaru for the midfield. Then the thought of moving her desk over to the one side of it and setting up stands, volumetric lights, a little ball.

A small smile crossed the tiny clerk's face until she shook her head of the illusion - recalling her reason to be there. The Mini focused onto the midground as she began accessing Jane for the current ship roster; particularly those on board. She then checked for those in command noting that only the XO was around; but that the Fleet Admiral was also present.

Hotaru sighed for a moment at the situation before standing and setting her mind to sending Nenene a quick message. "Tenno Hotaru here, Shoi," she began with a bow as if the XO were present, "I have been assigned as ship's clerk and am about to locate the office. Is there anywhere you need me to be before hand?"

On rout to Engineering

Nenene was leading the Admiral along one of the many passageways that traversed the Soyokaze's interior like veins and arteries did a body when the wireless signal from the new clerk entered her mind.

"Greetings Tenno Hotaru" she replied wirelessly, "Thank you for reporting in to me. I have needs for you at this moment, but I would like to go over ships departmental readiness as soon as is possible. At this moment though I am giving Taisho Kinsaka a guided tour of the ship" she explained to Hotaru. "As soon as I am done with this task I will want to meet with you"

On route to Engineering

Kinsaka glanced about the corridors, taking in some of the work that was still being done. "Not surprising, the ship only just finished construction before being assigned a crew. Just insure that things are ready for when your new captain arrives...." her voice trailed off as she accessed the dossier for the new captain, she already knew he had trained as technician but she wondered what he would find when he inspected the ship.

Floating off of her bed then landing by her datapad and stand, the miniature Neko replied, "Understood, Shoi. I will locate my office in the meantime and make it presentable, should the Taisho decide to come that way." She then pulled, first her datapad, then her stand, over to the dolly and piled them on for transport, afterwhich Hotaru turned the antigrav back on and left her cabin.

Clerical Office

After some instructions and much floating, the clerk finally got to her office and entered with a sense of unseen excitement with a measure of dread. Upon entering, the dread was all that remained, looking at all the space she had - though it was much less than her cabin. Hotaru allowed her dolly to settle and land before floating over to the desk and setting foot on it.

The Kohosei walked around on the polymer surface, soon noticing that her shoes were leaving little footy prints in the barely visible layer of dust that all officers were trained to spot. She bent down and wiped her hand on the desktop, then looked at it to confirm her dire suspicions. It was dirty, and the young Mini was not happy.

Quickly Hotaru began scanning through the duty roster to find out the last person assigned to clean the place - her eyes narrowing on the mid-distance as if the text were there. Some fresh Hei in training had looked at it yesterday; but there were no entries as to whether or not someone had done anything about it today. The tiny clerk straightened up cooly and tracked down someone who was not working on anything critical; sending a message to their overseeing Juni to have someone set them on this task of utmost importance.

"Ident confirmed, Two NMX Escort/Destroyers Ma'am.... Markers Boogie Alpha, and Boogie Beta..." The sensor officer sent the information to both the Gunnery officer (who started building firring solutions) and the XO/CO's stations. It was all clearly by the book.

The navigations officer and the two pilots started to move the ship in to a standard defensive stance, as per standard operational procedures.

Medbay

Chui Blake Smiled and bowed stiffly as the Admiral and the XO left the bay. once the door sealed shut he started grumbling about how all of this traffic was interfering with his fly tieing.

Lounge

It wasn't long after the trio had arrived in the lounge and gotten comfy that the Flight operations Juni's voice came over the ships loud speaker. "Would Pilots Truly Venus, Caramel Tart, Soga Tama, Report Back To The Hanger Bay..." the message repeated it's self twice more, ringing through out the ship.

Hanger Bay

The main doors to the void opened, there was a minute moment of a breeze before the shielding powered up to full keeping the atmosphere in side the ship.

Landing guidance lazers powered up and shot out into space directing A shuttle from the surface of Yamatai into the bay. It crept towards the ship, slowly orbiting the Soyokaze once to give the passengers a chance to view their new home, before lining up and landing with in the bay. Once the Shuttle had touched down and started it's power down, the bay doors sealed. the air pressure changed again for a moment causing everyone's ears to pop.

Crew Lounge

A chorus of groans filled the air as their names were announced. "What now?" "It's just not our day, is it?" "This is totally bogus! Totally!" Tru and Mel stood and began heading for the door, the red-skinned Tart letting out a sigh. Tama, dejected, flopped over Truly's shoulder and rode along, trying to work up the willpower to continue.

Hanger

The trio arrived shortly after the shuttle had landed and the doors closed. Venus slowed to a halt as Caramel pulled up alongside her. "Huh? What's going on?" Crasher spoke up as she lifted her head, pulling herself up to sit on Tru's shoulder as the group of Neko took in the scene, each still wondering what they had done to get themselves called back here.

Shuttle

Within the shuttle, Taii Nayacesen Takeyu sat as he waited for the shuttles systems to power down - the momentary pop of the ears was something he didn't even notice. "Grab your bags," he said to those who were with him. "Find a free cabin, then assist in anyway possible to get this ship ready for departure. Unlike those whom are already onboard, I know you gents.. and gals.. as we've served together so there is no need for an interview." The Taii stood up from the seat and grabbed his bag, a relatively small one, but then he'd had his main effects sent ahead of time as he'd spent some time in Kyoto doing gift shopping for the crew of the YSS Eucharis.

Shuttle

"I see how it is," The Nepleslian man said as he followed the others out of the shuttle, "Trying to get rid of me already eh? Guess I'll just find a room myself then."

With a laugh Bors made his way towards the bay's exit, noticing the armors, his MCAS included, being unloaded from the shuttle. 'Lest that made it ok.' He thought to himself adjusting his duffel over his shoulder before walking though the bay exit. The Soyokaze was much much bigger than the last ship he was on, and it would pry take him a few nights of walking around to figure out where the hell everything was, or more importantly wasn't so he could have a nice quiet place to relax.

Shuttle

Chieko had arrived on the shuttle several shades darker due to the time she had spent with her brother. She smirked at the differences between what was exposed and what was in the shade, recalling the prank she pulled on her parents by bringing Taro home a little late without mentioning she was coming. The scientist even had brought a Super Eikan model with her for the boy to complement the Plumaria she had sent him a year ago.

It was nice, but duty required her to be back to meet people she had not known were going to the Soyokaze with her. The familiarity caused the young Minkan to hold back even less in terms of gushing about her 6-year-old sibling and the headaches she gleefully caused her parents. She even passed around a new photo viewer with all sorts of pictures of the poor Yamataian boy - one in particular showing him covered head to toe in dirt with an indignant look on his face.

The academic was about to regale everyone with yet another lay when they got close enough to the ship. She looked for as long as she could, but later bounced in her seat while they landed. The Taii's orders seemed to improbably inject more enthusiasm into her, and nearly skipped off the shuttle had she not been attempting some modicum of professionalism.

Flight Deck

Chieko saluted as she requested permission to board. It took all her will to avoid smiling excessively while performing the usual drill; but somehow she managed it and made her way, following the instructions given her, to the cabins to put her things away. Before leaving the current deck, however, she excitedly looked around at all the hardware visible along the way.

Crew Cabin 2

The Academic finally entered her cabin after a longer transit than she had anticipated and dramatically flopped onto the lower bunk - more out of silliness than actual exhaustion. The young woman laid there for a few moments smiling at the underside of the top bunk while her duffel sat on the floor where it had been rather carelessly tossed. A new adventure was starting, and she intended to enjoy it.

Shuttle
As she sat on the shuttle and waited to arrive on the new ship Misato sighed and fretted a bit. The only real thing that allowed her to relax and not completely stress out over it all was the pictures of the little boy that Chieko passed about. they were cute, specially the one with the kid trussed up in all the mud. Like a little soldier in make shift cammo.

Once the shuttle landed she stood up and gathered up her gear. "Aye Sir" Misato grinned as she tossed her duffel over her shoulder and grabbed the other roller bag. She had a bit of nerviness about the new ship, but knowing a few others had been posted here with her made things a bit easier for her. She wasn't sure what she was going to do aboard beyond being a soldier. Luckily she was able to transfer her new Mindy along with her. At least she would be showing up with something she was finding her self becoming familiar with.

"Sir... May I speak to you for a moment..." She looked around for a moment at the others... "in private?" She waited until Takeyu stepped off to the side with her. "Sir... the Ship's systems keep trying to put me into an officer's cabin... I thought I would be in a standard one like before."

Hanger

He knew that question would come, considering that it wasn't exactly 'common'... or rather, it wasn't on the Eucharis anyway but he had read of instances of such things happening on other ships. He waited until there wasn't anyone really near them before he responded to her question. "I figured we'd share a cabin together, we've been through a lot and I want to protect and help you..." he wanted to place a hand up against her chin but there were others in the hanger bay and he didn't want to risk showcasing the affection he had for her, at least not out in the open.

Meiko nods a bit listening to Ume, she figured that she wouldn't be very old, most Neko's were not very old in comparison to the people whom created them. She took a breath and smiles. "My name is Meiko Lee, I am twenty-four years old. I'm a medic, and I want to one day be a doctor. I like the color green, and blue, I like old timey movies, and I like to read. I dislike failing, and I dislike people whom don't take care of themselves, or don't care about their or other peoples health." She nods a bit to this.

Corridor

Ume walked around the ship continuing her chat with Meiko, having checked a handful of stations on the way. "What's an old timey movie?" She was curious she knew what movies were, but 'old timey' was a new concept to her. The neko was of course curious and more than eager to learn what she meant by this. "Is it like movies with old people?"

Bridge

Chiasa was watching the bridge crew's activity. They were doing satisfactory in a rather predictable manner. Using standard maneuvers was always problematic because the enemy if they encountered them before could come up with strategies to counter them. She made a note that during the next training simulation she would introduce some other factors to make them have to think creatively.

She signaled to the MEGAMI to terminate the simulation, she logged the bridge crew score for comparison later. Standing up she looked around. "Your performance has been recorded. You achieved a satisfactory rating. "

Hanger

Flight Operations Officer Itto Juni Cross stood waiting for the trio to show back up. "This is not training any more... I don't know where you got the idea you only had to do the bare minimum here and then disappear. There is plenty for you to be doing. There are," The Officer's arm leaped up pointing at a few different areas of the semi-busy hanger bay. "Shuttle to be flight checked, there are your fighters to be ran through sims and adjusted to you, there is basic maintenance to be done. If that isn't enough to keep you busy there is always the old fashion mop and bucket. This flight deck is looking a bit unshiny." Juni Cross never raised his voice nor did he growl, the whole conversation took place at a causal tone. Though even through his tone there was a cord of disappointment.

"Now Get to work, We have the Admral aboard, on top of that the CO just landed in that shuttle over there." he pointed to the far end of the bay from the pilots to the new shuttle.

Bridge

Jayne closed down the simulation at the order and returned the bridge to standard operations. She got a ping form the hanger bay and smiled before sending a silent message to Chiasa, "Ma'am the CO is aboard, along with a new science department personnel."

She then sent a message to the XO, "Ma'am Taii Takeyu has arrived aboard along with Nito Heisho Misato, Joto Hei Riko, and Nityo Hei Koizumi. I believe that concludes the ship's crew."

She kept getting a ping through the computer connections for Misato about what room she was supposed to have. the fact that there were enough officer cabins aboard that NCO, and Warrant Officers were receiving Officer cabins. With a bit of a humor she sent back to Misato that the cabin was for sure hers.

Corridor

It didn't take long for the pair to go through out the whole ship and make sure the first aid stations were stocked. most were, though the ones that were empty still had the original installation seal on them. most likely who ever came aboard to stock the medical stocks kept skipping the furthest and most difficult to get to stations.

Engineering

Upon arriving at Engineering, the Taisho glanced upon the very large central reactor and nodded with approval. "More than enough power here for not only this ship, but many others..." she slowly looked upward toward the top of the engineering bay. "Where is the chief engineer?" she asked, glancing about the bay to try and locate the bays chief.

MISATO POST
///

Hanger Bay

Misato's gray skin started to grow darker almost purple in shade. She was flummoxed on what to say or do. She never quite realized he felt that way about her. sure he had always had time for her, and to listen to her woes but... but this?

"Sir... Takeyu... um... Well..." She stopped and looked around at the whole hanger hoping now one was ever hearing this. With a light sigh and a her left hand tightening around the grip of her bag she looked back at him. "I ... I appreciate the feelings you just shared... I do like you too... and would like to make sure your safe, heck sir.. Takeyu I was so happy to see that you an i were being transfered together, but I'm not sure about..." She dropped down to a whisper, "sharing a cabin like this... at least not this quickly..." She smiled and straightened her shoulders.

"i'll take the Officer cabin... and well maybe we can figure this all out as we go along. Hell you have a whole new ship to worry about now, I would hate to be a distraction."

Looking down at her feet then blushing again she leaned up and gave him a peck on the cheek hoping it eased any hurt that she may have just caused.

"That was the last one.." She looked at her, tilting her head a bit. "An Old-Timey movie is a movie from a long time ago, usually in black and white, and has people who are mostly dead now in it."

The girls stood up straight as they were addressed, Crasher still perched on Tru's shoulder. They looked confused and somewhat frustrated as the officer quietly chewed them out. "But we already set up the fighters." "Yeah, and the rest of that stuff is totally grunt work for the mechanics and junk!" Venus blushed at their outbursts. "Girls, shush!" She glared at them as they pouted, although within a few moments they'd already realized talking back was quite a mistake.

Truly saluted, followed a moment later by the other girls. "I apologize, sir. We'll get straight to work!" Unless they were stopped, Tru immediately began to lead the other two back towards the fighters they had set up earlier, planning to start by double-checking everything and making sure they'd customized the vehicles properly.
